I prefer the recoil of the M14. Since its directly up, it makes it relatively easy to get one hit in the chest and another to the neck or head.

I recommend the FAL over the M14 just because of the Recoil, the FAL has alot less recoil, but it does less damage to the head as it has no "Sniper multiplier" what makes the M14 some kind of Sniper.

@Thesupersuperc The FAL doesnt really need its recoil to be compensated for and you can use dual mags. It also has less muzzle flash and larger irons for less visual obstruction.

I use both and the difference in K/D is just .01, though.

I found the M14 Works best with a grip and suppressor combo. Suppressors hide muzzle flash, which simulates recoil reduction. That, paired with grip, makes your 2-shot Death stick as easy to control as a Galil. After killing xJawz once with this, he rage quits. In reference to my highest rated comment, that's quite ironic, huh?

@SnakebitLegend The shells are kicked up and right, missing the optic- M14 scopes in reality are put on top of teh barrel in front of the action like you would a scout rifle (look it up), with a long eye relief- a durable scope wouldn't make things matter.

I often use Scavenger with my M14 because it's always good to have ammo. Plus I hate using someone else's gun against them. Just seems kinda degrading to do that. Scavenger is my fave perk and sometimes I most of the time I have Sleight of Hand but I'm not afraid to use the Warlord perk when I wanna have a silent (suppressor) and precise (red dot sight) weapon.

The M16 Didn't replace the M14 in 1957 becasue nearly every unit who went to Vietnam 1964 had an M14, but in the later stages of the Vietnam war alot of units had the M16 introduced to them, but it suffered many problems due to cleaning. @zachery429 Call of duty is a great series, the only thing that screwed it up was the community. People use features in cod in a way they were not meant to be used. Glitchers, hackers, and rage quiters give call of duty a bad reputation.

They dont want to admit that they were killed and start placing blame on their opponents. Ragers don't create unbalanced teams, but they are being a "bad sport" when they lose.
