@Agent942 - the never ending saga, lol. How have you been? I watched your video response about the 5 questions (from 2 years ago) again. Have you travelled much since?
Can't say anything too crazy is happening on my end. Except on my walk home from work I have to cross near the underpass across the highway on foot with no crosswalk. Just means I have to be very careful not to get run over. That aside, the outdoors is great now with all the snow finally melting.
Washing dishes is okay, but it can be a bit much at times. I used to wash dishes at Burger King and the grease was nearly impossible to wash off. Always wished there was a dishwashing machine at Burger King.
That would be difficult having only 8 hours notice that people want to move in. And, 8 other people called afterwards? That would be insane!
@HaleyMary - seriously, I even got another caller today! (it's been 2 days since I took off the ad). I think it was something like 15 people in total :O
Boy, you remind me of an ex. It's all good, but a little freaky as well. Mostly it's mannerisms, expressions & energy. He was even a dishwasher as he finished college. --Yeah, the bottom has dropped out of my life these days. My father unexpectedly died recently, so I'm having to help my mother close out his affairs, including his large office. Storm came a few days after, toppling over several enormous trees. There's much craziness happening. Just trying to take it each day as it comes.
@dafttool - OMG, I'm so sorry to hear that. I just can't imagine such a loss :( I wish I could be there in person during this time for you. Please take care.
That's really sweet, truly, plus I bet the 90 F we're going to get this weekend wouldn't be too bad a draw for you either. ;) It was briefly in the 30's last weekend, after weeks of 70's & 80's, so I think that was our last blast of cold this winter.
Life likes to throw you a lot of curve balls to keep things interesting & challenging. I had a sense of impending doom of late. I almost asked my father for instructions on the event of his death, but since he was sick with flu, I decided not :-/
I like to wash dishes. Beats pizza delivery you can die doing that. Refinery workers are usually well mannered they have a really strict working enviroment. I ordered some vacumn tubes did some planting have a tiller on order bought a new lawnmower. Bought a86 250 honda elite scooter can do interstate speeds needs repair hopefully the mechanic will be back soon but scooter gets over 70 mpg.
@cdltpx SO I have done a few thing but all but the lawnmower is pending. Tiller in the mail/ Vacumn tubes in the mail. Mechanic dont know when he is going to get to the scooter. Hope I did the right thing buying the scooter they claim they are collectable but I just wanted a ride that gets great fuel economy was going to sell the scion XB wife said why I said I never drive it she said so just keep them both.
@cdltpx - I actually wanted to do the delivery because of the tips, but to tell you the truth I like the simple nature of just dishwashing :) Once the taxes are paid for, I think I'll take the rest of the summer off again.
@landongendur I liked working in the kitchen didn't pay as much but you do your deal and go home. I could not answer phones that was too much don't do well without proper training they act like you are supose to know all there is to know but they have all the questions about coupons how long the wait is specials. Forget all that.
I love your stories! What fun you've had!

@HaleyMary - which underpass is it?
landongendur 10 months ago
@landongendur
It's the one in the east end going along Victoria Avenue. I think it's called the Ring Road.
HaleyMary 10 months ago
@HaleyMary - oh, you mean that service road that goes under... between the Sandman and the Sunrise Motel? That is a pretty scary underpass indeed.
