Great movie! I tried to tell my son (2011) about the final P-rade, jumping in the reflecting pool. (I was '76) I got the comment, Dad, that was in the "old days"...maybe so, but they were the "good old days". Good memories! Thanks!
I was lucky, my brother got his camera bag robbed later and he took most of the video on that day but my dad had taken some movies and they appeared 35 years later. Nice to have some pics of that day.
This was in front of the mess hall, gone now. We are swimming because you no long wear that uniform after the "final parade". This was in a box for 35 years and just recovered.

Great memories. Too bad, but the Reflection Pool is no longer there so that tradition after the last P-rade no longer exists.

This was great! My husband graduated in 83 and my son is a plebe this year... to see this back in 73 is terrific. Where are they smimming?

Yes, this was the "Reflecting Pool," just about where the Levy Center is now.
