  • Words are one thing; actions are another. We'll just have to see whether those words come from his heart or just his mouth.

  • Joseph, you seem to understand this issue well. Yes, it will take all of us (or at least a very many of us) to help make world peace a possibility.

And there can be world peace when all those monstrous beastly WMDs have been dismantled once and for all.

Then, as a world, we must watch over the deadly seeds, the ingredients used to build those bombs. Developing trust between ALL nations will help.

Inclusion is necessary to create world peace.

  • America must apologize to Japan -- not an "oops we got caught" apology, but a real one.

America must apologize to Japan for dropping two WMDs on Japan's gentle villagers after bombing them for months (6) 66 years ago.

A real apology means 100% nuclear disarmament in America.

This American apology will help to repair America's health, financial, drug, and violence epidemics. This apology will help to bring peace to the world.

  • This anti american coward in chief obama is weaking the US from destroying our space program to ruining our military This piece of human shit will not respond with nuclear weapons if thousands of americans are killed by his muslim brothers with chemical or biological weapons. I can only hope the only people who suffer in next terrorist attack and it is coming with this pussy sitting in white house are assholes who voted this coward in.

  • obama is making sure the us cant defend our selves when the muslims/communist/socialist take over and turn America into a Nazi Muslim Socialist dictatorship

  • granted. but the situation has gotten a bit too complicated to just have every1 give up their arms. especialy when its not clear whats happening to the ''donated'' arms. and PLEASE dont tell me that they will all go to 1 organization for ''safe keeping''. that orginization (or person) would have absolute power with only God to stop their will. this would be a very important step in a global takeover. that would be bad for more than 1 reason.

  • Imagine where we'd be if all the time and energy used for destruction had been used to help humanity instead? I mean, I know a lot of good things have come from military research and all, but spending billions on nuclear weapons seems like a waste of money to say the least.

  • Check out "Freedom from War" a U.S. State Department plan from 1961, "Blueprint for the Peace Race," "A Word Effectively Controlled by the United Nations," "World Peace Through World Law," "Our Global Neighborhood" and former Soviet dictator Mikhail Gorbachevs "Final Report of the Global Security Project", among other sources that all openly promote the establishment of a global political, economic and disarmament authority under the U.N.

  • A World Police Force under the UN is also in the plans and has actually been coming together under "peacekeeping" operations and joint military exercises between U.S. and Russia among many other nations. The establishment of a UN global military (armed with atomic weapons) would enforce all UN decrees and disarmament protocols while individual nation states would not be allowed to have standing militaries and only have "internal security" police to enforce UN protocols of course.

  • what a load of crap, UN peacekeeping operations go into dangerous areas to try to stabilise nations - they are nothing like a global police force.

  • This is not Obamas plan, he is simply following a pre-written globalist script that goes back several decades. This has nothing to do with complete nuclear and conventional weapons disarmament, but actually "selective" disarmament. The malevolent program being implemented not only calls for drastic reductions in nuclear weapons production but it would give the United Nations control over remaining stockpiles as well as all conventional weapons.

  • really? where does it say they are giving their nuclear weapons to the UN?

  • Comment removed

  • im not sure about 100% reduction in wmd's but 99.9% is a good idea.. lets get rid of all nukes in all countries except in the u.s. and russia who they themselves will limit at no more than say 10 or even 5 for the sake of a war deterrent.

  • OBama always sounds good.

When Korea started missle testing, what did he do? Iran is working on nukes every day, what will he do?

    TALK IS CHEAP

  • What a load of bull! You know how to protect terrorist attack? Stop occupying their land and killing millions of innocence for starter. Sure Obama can try to eliminate, but on the other hand, he ordered new F35 fighters as if we really need them in this economy.

  • Maybe our Dear Leader and Savior can persuade the Russians and Chinese to give up their nukes. A world w/o nukes? It'll mean peace like we use to have in 1914 & 1939. btw: Hows that HOPE and CHANGE thing workin' out for ya?

  • Obama is a dumbshit.

We lasted over 50 years in a world in which two superpowers, incidentally antagonists, conducted proxy wars....because they could.....but never once fired a nuclear missile at one another....because they couldn't.

It's called deterrence, god damn it, and it's kept us alive for half a century.

It's the same reason gangsters don't break into police stations and the same reason robbers would rather break into an unarmed household than an armed one.

  • Good riddance nuclear weapons. They are never a good thing to have stockpiled on a planet.

  • lies

  • It's time for global anarchy. Lets start all over, this time we will start as a civilization of maturity and intelligence. Forget monetary wealth. Science is the key to all our problems. We do not need monetary wealth to educate, clothes, feed, live our lives. We need peace and security. And we can achieve this by abolishing all currencies and establishing a trade for trade system. I give you rice, you give me aluminum and so forth.

  • Science has it's bad side too. It's a double edged sword as well.

  • Why? this world is changing for the worse. Greed is the most abundant characteristic in human beings. For what? Cars, Houses, material stuff that is unnecessary in most cases. all we need is a comfortable home, entertainment, education, food and so on. no need for power. lets have peace

  • I don't understand what that had to do with my comment.

The world is always changing. You tell me what the norm is lol.

Greed can be good or bad. There is nothing wrong with it. Greed can create medicine and higher living standards. Greed pushes motivation, innovation and entrepreneurship. It has two sides.

You have to be a realist when looking at the human condition. Utopia is unreachable. And often time the quest for it leads to very bad things. History gives plenty of examples.

  • stewy357, Recent research from various bodies such as MIT, business and economics institutes clearly shows that what you are saying is myth.

Competition in many cases leads to reduced innovation and poor planning.

The limited scope in which competition is useful is in a situation of little choice, limited goals, time restricted.

It has uses but it can also be harmful to performance and results.

We need both, not dogmas or market religions.

  • Can you link specific studies?

I don't see how competition would lead to reduced innovation or poor planning. True competition would weed most of that out. You don't win if you planned poorly. You'd need coercion or force.

I agree about the dogma's. Religion should never be forced. Only voluntary. After all, God did give us free will.

    Market religions?

  • stewy357

    watch?v=rrkrvAUbU9Y

It gives a number of references to the work in question, But I think this is really part of a greater realization that it does no good to see mass unemployment or economic destruction as motivatior.

We have seen how success wrecks it's own markets, it has no option if it is to survive in a competitive environment but to invest yet more it what will eventually win.. thus destroying itself in crisis.

market religion requires a limit in scope.

    without regs it's insanity

  • I watched. Interesting. Social science is nice but...Social engineering has such an amazing track record too...FED and Soro's too...That was not the best video to link.

Sorry I don't buy it. Greed and competition is a fundamental fact of life and natural law. A huge driving factor in evolution and human behavior. Its not the only factor but a large one.

What do you think drives the FED and Soror's? But they're bad example's. They have coercion and force on their side. (cont)

  • The US government. The FED's control is obvious. Soro...The DNC. I will admit I'm not a fan of either.

The FED has been a parasite to America since it's conception. It what makes America a pseudo-free market. Fiat monetary systems are definitely a bad side of greed.

  • In Capitalism a merchant employs workers to make commodities. these are sold on a market, money is used to pay workers and merch, remainder (capital) is invested to enhance competitive advantage.

Problem is competitors do the same, levels of investment soar, markets become saturated, crisis in profit.

many fail, mass unemployment, misery, buy ups, it tends to monopoly and crashes get bigger, govt gets wrecked on by right wing corps stooges.

If you don't like the fed, socialize it.

  • Everything is capital. Every "ism" of government needs capital to function. The difference is who controls its. In America it's the individual. The government isn't suppose to control how much someone makes, only that they make it by the rules.

So what if a company fails and people go unemployed, your seem to suggest they will stay permanently unemployed. And not learn new skills. Or the company's good assets will not get bought up by a better one. Or a better company wont take its place.(cont)

  • I am not saying get rid of markets BTW, I am suggesting fix the paradigm so they work for everybody and ensure wealth production.

The idea that profit is wealth is simply wrong.

Wealth is low crime, fish in the rivers, educated population, health etc.

Look at economies like Norway and Sweden, highest taxes in the world, and the wealthiest, most flexible etc.

free market magic is nasty corp propaganda. It has left the USA and other similar economies way behind in health etc.

  • I agree with you on making it work for everyone. But I think America shouldn't abandon capitalism, it should work to make it perfect.

"Look at economies like Norway and Sweden" Nice examples. But America has a population of 350 million and basically open borders.

Government mandates have ruined American health care. Look at the innovation the system has created and disease survival rates are higher then most western countries.

  • We have to many worries. I rather die than to see a world where rich people get richer and the majority of the population survives while the minority lives. No its time for anarchy. But all this is impossible because everyone is afraid and ignorant. They rather stay home and watch American Idol.

  • No stewy357, you cannot have that,

Norway and Sweden have the highest tax in the world. they are the wealthiest populations,.very well educated, difficult to push around. they have the biggest welfare systems, and the most socialist models. they do much better than the USA and are free, very wealthy, have next to no crime, they invested unlike the USA under the leadership of ranting right wing pro rich corp idiocy.

the ranting right has cost the USA dear in lost investment.

  • So I guess Norway and Sweden are utopia's?

Norway tax rates. 28% corp. 0-47% individual. 43% of GDP is tax revenue.

Sweden. 26% corp. 29%-59% individual. 50% of GDP is tax revenue.

Low corporate taxes but high individual taxes.

    Population.

Norway. 4.8 million(New york 19. 5 million and around 40,000 people pay over 50% of the state tax revenue).

    Sweden. 9.3 million.

Crime is directly related to population and Sweden or Norway don't have a practically open southern border.(cont)

  • And how do you measure a country being freer? You certainly aren't freer with your money when you're taxed that much.

Having control of your own money is a big part of my freedom. And for a such small countries, that's a lot of tax revenue...I wonder how much of it goes to subsidizing the poor. Hard to find the numbers.

BTW America's welfare rolls a around 2 million, half the population of Norway. And 50% of the country pays almost no federal tax. The top 1% already pay 40% of all income tax

  • Correction; should of been New York city. 8.3 million. And city tax revenue. My bad.

  • These countries have trouble with immigration as well have you not noticed ... Their borders are a lot more open than you think. I also have no problem paying taxes that are spent the way I would like to see them spent.

Having no choice in the matter is what bothers me.

    Aberran

  • Anyway. Good exchange but I think we've gone way off topic lol. So how about them nukes? lol

  • I think the nuke plan is great IMO, It's an example of how international opinion can crush an evil market.

Kyoto was an example of how good new hi tech markets can be created in similar ways. Innovation suits the USA very well.

It also brings good new jobs.

The debate should be about how open agreements and Govs are. not whether we have them. A good deal is good stuff,

Corps avoid tax, so the right's is a null argument.

    look up transfer pricing.

President Obama is closing the tax havens.

  • liar swedish police will not go into areas where there are large populations of muslims due to crime almost all crimes of rapes and murders in sweden and norway are comitted by muslim savages

  • BTW most European countries are becoming more capitalist then America. Including the examples you used. Keyword, flexibility. Like with their schools. Their governments actually compete with the private market. Not regulate it out of existence(corporate taxes, subsides, special interest...) or monopolize it.

I agree with you about the FED too. Monetary policy should be controlled by the people. I believe the founders wanted it controlled by congress. Not a private bank.

  • Greed enslaves us. The central bank is an institution that are founding fathers were against from the very beginning . I don't care if it seems like utopia but if most people in America and the world stand up to these corporations we could actually have a chance to be happy and secure.

  • There is nothing wrong with science at all. Science is simply the quest for knowledge. The problem comes with the application of the discovered knowledge. Nuclear technology gave us the power to build both bombs and power plants. Don't blame science or scientific enquiry; it's the applications that need to be questioned.

  • I didn't say there was. Hence the double edged sword term.

    I'm in total agreement.

I was just pointing out that science can the "key" or "cause" to our problems.

Don't forget some one could misuse science with good intentions. That might end up having disastrous effects. Genetics, weather control, ect...

  • disarming all the nuclear weapons in the world is as bout as likely as me giving labor to a tiny little leprechaun ; As long as humans have the knowledge needed to construct nuclear weapons, stupidly attempting to eliminate all nuclear weapons in the world is a futile goal.

  • I'll be your midwife.

    Gimme a call at 2 8 1, 3 3 oh, eight zero zero fo

  • it's easy to sit there and say "nah not possible". someone has to try.

  • His VP lol Joe....HUGE supporter for NWO...oh yeah we beleive you and Obama and Joe..sure...American's are not so stupid ...anymore bubs !

  • How does this guy know they haven't lost an ounce of gold at Ft. Knox? They refuse to allow for an audit since something like 1954... Why hide something when you have nothing to hide?

Here is a hint: All of the gold in Ft. Knox... ALL of it, is gone.

  • Went to the Queen.

  • It was the nuclear deterrent that kept us from nuclear war. There is a document written in the 60s by the UN and US that would disarm the US but not for peace. It was to give the UN the sole nuclear power. You tube "the grand design"

  • We've never lost an ounce of gold? Sure about that, dude?

  • Can't lose something that isn't there.

There hasn't been a physical audit on Fort Knox in many years... the gold was probably sold off secretly.

  • I had that theory in mind, though I don't really believe it. But, yeah, no audit. This guy is just pulling shit out of his ass. Even if it is all on the level, I doubt the audit would turn up the exact expected amount to the ounce.
