  • btw right after I said that I noticed the TORCO locomotive. That was originally CSXT #8200, and its an SD40-2.

  • No problem. TORC also had 997 and 998, but they were retired and sent to Huntington, WV. TORC 999 still operates, and will venture down through Willard to Cumberland for it's 90-day inspection. TORC's 997-999 are all ex SD40's. 996 is the first SD40-2 that TORC owns. It's also the first unit to receive bold, blue lettering on the long hood. All of the others had small yellow lettering on the battery box.
