The Lions are saying they don't know whether Best will ever play again. Very sad news for Lions fans. This guy was going to be a huge player for their team. Another players career potentially cut short because of injuries, very sad.

Jahvid Best has the potential to be great. He just needs to work on running between the tackles. Right now he reminds of Reggie Bush. Only effective when you can get him the ball in space.

You could tell the Lions tried really hard this past season. I think that game against the Bears really hurt them (still thought they won that one, but that's up to debate) I'm sure had they won that game, the Lions would have at least gone 8-8 with that momentum. I'm not a Lions fan but I like underdogs and I hope they play with the same tenacity this coming season as they did the last.
Its really easy to forget just how explosive he was in those first two games of the season before the turf toe injuries really sapped him of his agility. He still had some speed but he just didnt have the balance and couldnt make people miss like he can
