The purpose of the cross was to break the power of sin & death so we could all walk in the righteous requirements of the law. After all, they are HIS laws! Jesus is the Word of God made flesh. For those that want to say that the NTdoes not condemn the gay lifestyle, read 1 Cor 6:9. It tells you outright that you will not inherit life in the kingdom of God. Secondly, in 1st Corinthians, the apostle Paul is not addressing pagans. Paul is addressing THE CHURCH there in Corinth.

The only fail here is your usage of scripture. The Lev 25 scriptures were given to Israel as specific instruction on how deal with the remaining populace of divinely judged and conquered peoples. They were not for the Church. God uses Israel as His instrument of judgment and He has every right to do so. Deut 20: 10-14 does not give license to rape as that is fornication. Deut 22: 28-29 isn't about rape (if THEY are found out). Marriage protects her future & binds him

The bible is very clear that homosexuality is a sin against God, in fact it is a demonic spirit. Unless an individual confesses and repents (turns away) from their sin they will not enter the Kingdom of God. God's Word is true and will stand.

You're either lying or don't know your own Bible. ALL of those those things ARE explicitly outlined in the above mentioned website.
It's because of all these crazy rules, laws, instructions and practices that I no longer believe in the Bible. And I was a 30 year Christian that went to Bible study every day before school and even went on a church mission to preach & baptize in a foreign land. I KNOW what the Bible says!
So, please READ your Bible before you accuse someone of distorting!

Freedom to chose? Justice? Charlene made a choice. She chose to be true to who she felt God had created her to be. How can you all speak of justice in one breath and place judgment on someone who made a choice freely. People change in all types of ways that can seem small or huge. Charlene does not have that luxury? Or anyone else? Justice? The message on this video is sad---it is a message that flies in the face of true freedom and personal choice.

Stephenfermero, no Jesus diesnt say anything about homosexuality but he doesnt say its right,in fact he does stand up for the laws of moses in leviticus (Matthew 5:17-20)
and you know what that says about homosexuality.GLBTs have always been welcomed in the church but like people who do other sins, they just dont want to leave it behind,so they feel excluded.

next thing they will be saying is the bibe says nothing about having 1 partner. oh yes, i am sure these same folks will say polygamy is okay and mind u becasue ppl practise this behavior in scrpture did not mean god condoned. the groudn wrk 4 1man and 1woman was set from the garden of eden. if he intded 4 men 2 hv more than 1 wife the bible wld have resonated wth this. the same goes 4 the gay doctrine. if this was approved behvorthe bible wld not addrss it as not good frm the start.

these people are talking twisted things. christ talks very candily aboutthis type. christ warned that many will come in his name preaching signs and wonders and will deceive even the most elect. but in the day he wil tell them away from me u evildoers i never knew u. this not my judgement the word of the messiah is speaking. he does not mention homosexual here but lets face it the messiah was clear when he said when a woman and man r married the 2 have bcom 1.

@thicky Your messiah never said that two men or two women can't become one, however. It did not exclude it. We also now know that when homosexuality is referred to in the New Testament it did not refer to two people of the same sex loving each other, but to pederasty, which is completely different.

To those who are commenting that homosexuality is a sin, consider withholding your judgement on an issue you know nothing about, and do not understand.
Educate yourself, and try to do a better job of welcoming members of the GLBT community into your churches so they can know Christ, instead of acting like a bunch of Pharisees. Show me in the Bible where Jesus said anything about homosexuality. I'll take his word over Paul's.

why is it we go to paul. paul only confirmed wht was said before. the gentile era of the believers started with paul. he said nothing new or different from christ. he only confirmned and recognised what was said from the beginning about christ and what he represented. starting with the law of moses. the bible is one complete book it does not stop. so if you take christ word u take paul 2.
