Hatch summarises the differences between the two series' very well. The new series is much darker and also much deeper with more complex characterization. That is why it is my favorite scifi-show ever.

Richard Hatch's view on the new series is polar opposite to Dirk Benedict's. I'm with Dirk on that matter. I have no time for the new series and neither doesn't my 11 year old nephew who has loved the original series since 7 years old.

I think that Universal Studios did not want The Second Coming released because it is better than the version of Ron Moore.The version of Ron Moore did not win me and my family over.The original and Richard's books and The Second Coming are the best.

Glen Larson should sell him the Galactica rights and let him make Galactica the way it is suppose to be.Watching the Second Coming trailer,Richard should have his books used to make the new Galactica episodes.Of all of the original episodes Gun of Ice Planet Zero is my favorite.
