this song is amazing, I never get tired of it. It's terribly sad but beautiful at the same time. Some goodbyes are painful and this song really understands that, my heart goes out to those who have lost someone they've loved!
@heatherdumas I'm so sorry to hear about your loss ): I lost my mother back in 08 and I never got to say goodbye to her. I got to say bye, but she was in a coma at the time so she couldn't hear me. ):
@luvtomkaulitz4ever I'm sorry. It hurts losing a parent. I was closer to dad than mom. I was at work; I felt sick that day and knew something was wrong. When the phone rang in training class, I knew it was about him. He was in the hospital for 2 days & was conscious most of it before he passed. It was quick. I thought he would get better; he had been sick before. I really think your mom could hear you, sweetie. Their bodies may be failing them, but I have a feeling their soul is there with you.
@heatherdumas It really does hurt. I was only 12 at the time and it hurt so much and it still does. My brother and my father were at his piano lesson. I had to stay home and skip because my mother was sick, so I did. I called whenever something was wrong and she was vomiting, falling off the couch so I called 911 and my dad rushed home. The last words my dad heard from her were "Help me" before she went into a coma and you're right. Maybe she heard me the whole time. You made me feel better.
@luvtomkaulitz4ever It can be terrifying seeing something like that when you're so young. But I know she hears you hun. I think she still listens even now. I like to think that way about my dad. That he whispers in my ear to talk to me sometimes. They're still watching us grow from up in heaven.
@heatherdumas Yeah it is terrifying D: Yeah..I agree that she's hearing us even if we don't believe it. And she sees us even if we don't see her. My dad believed my mother sent him a dream about my death that was supposedly gonna happen if I went to this crime scene thing as a tour in LA. He believes it's a sign.
i first listened to this when I was 15, and i remember skipping this song, (English is not my first language either) so I know speak english, fluently, and my mom died almost 7 months ago, and im 23, and this songs makes sense, and i feel natalie's pain in it. i really do love it.
@sexualgorgeous I'm sorry hun. I lost my dad two years ago. I never got to say goodbye to him. But it will get easier, I promise. But this song really does reflect how that feels. It's sad, in a beautiful way.
I'm still amazed how beautifully painful this song is
