See, what's really cool is- that ride broke down for an entire hour.

So when it was closing time (8PM) they were still open trying to let people ride.

At around 8:20 the ride started working again and we got to ride it!

It was amazing. :)

Got out at like 8:47 though, ha ha, and the other rides like Dominator and Shockwave were a disappointed because they broke down more than twice!

Only Anaconda was okay. :(

Heights alones is one of the best parts of thrill rides. The Drop Tower is an awesome ride at just over 170 ft off the ground. I can't wait to get to the top of the first hill on Intimidator and looking down over 230 ft!

I've been to over 30 parks, and (excluding this ride, and Afterburn) Carowinds has absolutely nothing worth riding, and I would honestly have to call it the 2nd worst "large" park I've ever been to. Six Flags, on the other hand, has several good coasters (notably Goliath); its just an all around better park. If I had to rate it, Six Flags Over Georgia would be the 6th best I've been to.

i dont think so. i just cedar point bought out paramounts from carowinds so rides changed names. the borg is not the night hawk, top gun is afterburn. those are the only ones i know that changed. PS i still call the afterburn the top gun. it will alwayse be top gun to me =)

I would definitely go to Carowinds. First off, the lines aren't as long. Secondly, the two top rollercoasters at Carowinds (Intimidator and Afterburn) beat the two top coasters at Six Flags (Batman and Goliath). The Nighthawk at Carowinds is just as good as good as Superman at Six Flags. Six Flags just closed down Deja Vu, which was an awesome coaster. Besides that, Acrophobia at Six Flags is just a little better than the Drop Tower at Carowinds is just a little bit, but both are awesome.

This new rollercoaster is a remarkable achievement, however, it does have many flaws. One of these flaws is that it is colored red. Does anyone remember white lighting? It was not colored red and it was shipped to South America. Also, it has a chain lift. I mean seriously, with all of this new cancer research, we had to get a chain lift? Intimidator 305 is Intamin AG, and Intimidator is from Bollinger and Mabillard. I guess the names and theming are simply copyrighted to Cedar Fair and Earnhardt, not the coaster companies...?
