Yeah most people tend to keep sides open. My thoughts are to learn to keep the exact middle open so later on at higher levels when its harder to get pieces open you can just flip the long piece with one move and bam tetris.

Putting the side open has the advantage that you won't get too many holes.

@90210night Yeah because for this version they're what score the most points whereas in most of the new versions TSTs score the most.
