  • This only seems good to me for people that got into accidents, are sick, etc. Simply because this seems to make people feel different, when they wouldn't normally be feeling that way. Very dangerous territory if you ask me. I don't even wanna think about all the nasty stuff that could happen. o.O

  • And one day we'll have the "I'm a human chip" so that we will experience living in an avatar on a planet called earth.

  • I'm sorry but this is outrageous, instead of using our "intelligence" to address the pressing needs of the world we live in the mad scientists would endeavor to bend the parameters of morality to produce a post-moral society. Anyone not completely in horror of such an idea - presaged in the movie Bladerunner - is off their fucking rocker, perhaps already victims of the mind-control technology the NWO messenger Kaku speaks of in this series.

  • @2dogarage hahahahahaaahahahahaaaa, you retard!

  • @heroindog What an astute reply from someone calling someone else a retard...

don't worry, best of all don't think -- some machine will do that for you eventually.

    /watch?v=5tLTb4P1HD8

  • @2dogarage you should buy one of those machines if thats what you really believe

  • Maybe people should focus more on biological and genetic enhancements/alterations than mechanical ones. I mean, it sounds a lot more convenient in every sense of the word. We would have to be VERY far into the future before mechanical enhacements actually work with us the same way as biological does. As for the chip in that woman's head, I just can't help thinking that it seems very naïve. Sure, we're realizing that it is possible, but is it really preferable? I'd strongly suggest no.

  • @MrAmritasya i agree that biological enhancements are superior but biological machines are far more complex than any synthetic mechanical machine. a eukaryotic cell uses around 1 million complex chemicals. certainly with advances in bioinformatics and other biotechnology it will be reachable in the future, provided we overcome the dire issues we face in the 21st century.

  • This really is going to answer the question about a soul. What can we replace to keep a person 'there,' and what can we replace?

  • I's neads wun of dem tink'n cheps...

  • They have the technology.

  • Just change a chip to change the profession...you can work on many professions without gathering the required experience..great.

  • could it be possible that this machine could change the pattern of your DNA into super smart and super intelligent human in the next generation? because i believed that your DNA is a tape recorder of your way of life..

  • this show is good to brainwash people and make them panic.... good job

  • @2secondman The only ones that panic are those that have something to fear. Religious bigots would certainly have much to fear after watching this show.

  • You'll know a computer is smart, when it decides to turn its self off..

  • This dumb mustached fuck has no clue what hes talking about.Threw watching part 1 to 6.

  • If that lady can flip a switch to change her mood why can't I take a few pills to change mine?

  • @TheWillIamLee87 You can, and I think that is the point....

  • 4:26 . . . Jackie Chan

  • I hope these fucking chips come with a HORNY "ON" switch for women - oh yes, and a SHUT UP setting too...

  • @testiclesDOTca LMFAO! Bravo! You sir, are an asset to humanity. Fuck yeah!

  • Also @deathmachinekill that's what I was thinking about the electrodes and chips. It's funny that you mentioned that.

  • If you don't like it, don't get it. Me I think living to be a million years old, thinking at the speed of light, having a photogenic memory, connecting to the internet with my brain, and being able to do much more is a very attractive proposition. As for the people who think that machines will destroy us, you're too late. You should have shut down the Manhatten Project then. We can now destroy the entire planet. I don't see a difference between us destroying ourselves vs being killed by our robots

  • Michio Kaku real life David Sarif :)

  • we will become THE BORG!!!!

  • It sounds like we as humans are getting greedy in that we need to live longer and get smarter. Why not go back to the old times where people could sit down and talk with their families and friends. Go for a walk to the park, play sports with a group of people. Yes humans are smart enough to expand and create machines and mechanically manipulate our bodies and minds... But why?

  • @XanEli1 I guess it's part of evolution!

  • @XanEli1 Speaking as someone who has been allowed to talk with family members via Skype that, in the "old days," I would see only once every few years, I must disagree. People still walk in parks, people still spend time with their families, and people still act like...well, people. If anything, it has made us vastly more connected as a species. You mustn't be too afraid of change.

  • "For the first time in Human history, in the 'Information Revolution', we can begin to become masters of intelligence."

  • Ough Great.. Now we are gonna have AI robots in which can think for themselves and control all electronics. Then, you have the doctors installing electronics in your brain to control your emotions and reactions.. I can see the movies Soylent Green and Terminator coming true.

  • @MrEricH5470 Protip: don't give general strong AI control of guns and factories. :D

Doubly scary though: imagine the first time a violent criminal is sentenced to have his brain augmented to make him happy and passive.

  • Maybe i'm a paranoid fuck but, does anyone else find the idea of your brain being connected, literally, to a computer..disturbing? Go to sleep a free depressed man and wake up an enslaved cyborg. Imagine getting hacked, lol.

  • @whiteyonwelfare lol... No Shit!.. I can see someone getting hacked for sure... then you have the occassional idiot that has one of these things.. who goes to rob a bank or murder someone and blames it on the computer.. either malfunction or getting hacked then the justice system allows a serial murderer loose on the public.

  • @whiteyonwelfare You can already be hacked. It's laughingly referred to as social engineering in the computer security world.

For mind viruses in humans see: religion, nationalism, ect.

I don't think you should worry much about computer viruses though since a virus in a computer relies on the operating system's willingness to execute arbitrary code unchecked.

With active intelligence, you still get to decide if the incoming information is true and what you should do about it.

  • This seems to be so opposite of the agenda your putting forth.......

  • This technology is destructive, supressing feelings that exist for a reason. So basically you could at some point touch a very hot surface if you have clicked the "shut off sensory touch" button. This is retarded, people won't want to have that shit in their brains.

  • @Hermoor Lol. Dude, did you watch this? That girl was depressed for 20 straight years. Nature is not perfect, let's fix it when we can.

  • This is kind of scary to me! Just think about the possibilities of this kind of technology in the hands of people with not so good intentions....

  • this is more like artificial intelligence revolution, A.I.R.! isn't it ironic that air, gases everywhere that sustains life)is the same as A.I.R, the acronym of the future that might destroy life!

    scary thought!

  • speak some Japanese, damnit

  • I think going into the humans is too far, i think these doctors and scientists are obsessed and are at a level of being psycho they should not try to alter nature this is dangerous they should advance technology but not interfere with the human body that it is just too much i would never do it i think they should stop or nature will stop them and then the good will have to suffer for the bad. STOP NOW!!!

  • @Craftykoz Clearly, you had the luck not to have depressions. Your opinion would be different otherwise. I've been suffering from just mild depressions and anxiety for last 2 years but I would gladly participate as a "guinea pig" in similar research if there was a chance it would improve my condition at least by a little >_<

  • and then some one detonates an EMP and you are dumb again!!!

  • @deathmachinekill you gotta have an amd chip in your head

  • @deathmachinekill For someone to detonate an EMP in order to "make people dumb again" It would literally take a lack of intelligence to begin with. In this Revolution, mankind itself has an important decision to make. Help those who need help and allow improvements for those who do not, or forsake those who need help. Religious bigotry is the one thing standing in the way of advancement.

  • It's a good thing there is no chance of this technology getting abused by the criminal justice system.

  • i wonder if people will still vote republican

  • @nasty1182 Your chip will guide you in which way to vote. If you try to vote the wrong way your chip will make you feel badly. When you choose the right candidate your chip will make you fell good.

  • hubots

  • Yeah, but how much will the implants cost?

  • autism wtf there is nothing up way my brain go fuck yerself

  • the guy @ 3:00 starts talking about how everyone by late 2020 will have some non-biological implant in their brains. this obviously won't happen so soon. people like him forget that even if technology increases, humans are slow to adapt to such technologies. many old people in our current decade are still afraid to use computers or the internet; it takes new generations of people to adapt to new technology. computing power may be evolving exponentially, but this isn't the only factor involved...

  • they r creating mutants

  • @thecommenter18 no mutants, trans-humans :)

  • @DreamMarko Absolutely correct :)

  • @DreamMarko im gonna feel like an idiot but what r trans-humans?

  • @thecommenter18 No need to feel that, it`s a relatively recent concept. Most that are familiar with it are si fi fans, scientists and such. It`s a concept that with technology, cybernetics or bio engineering, humans will achieve greater potential, knowledge, greater intelligence, advanced abilities, immortality. All of witch are very much possible. If you want more information, you should google it a little :)

  • @DreamMarko thanks

i got ya.,..it all makes sense now :D

  • Having a shitty day? Just change a few settings.

  • @fingerboy18 hilarious

  • @fingerboy18 HAHAHAH! No kidding. :)

  • @fingerboy18 I suppose that's better than pumping yourself full of foreign chemicals, though.

  • awesome video...thanks

  • Thank you very much for posting this program. It was both fascinating and alarming. I'm going away with the impression that we must go along with this new technology (i.e. implants) or else face unforeseen dire consequences. There are many obvious benefits demonstrated but history has many examples of good intentions being perverted. Are we emotionally ready as a species to have implants/programs placed in our brains? How many control switches will there be and who will be throwing switches?

  • 33,536 Started off, only 7,876 remained XD LOL

  • Future: hahahahahahaha

  • fuck that iwoud not want stuf on my brains not that desperate their wonder land of braincontrol and happines no matter what theas creeps are saying

  • @isobodari1 So you would let your paranoia keep you from improving yourself? Maybe they might create a chip that would help you type so that your sentences made sense.

  • @yerk3 maby they make chip that you coud speak atleast one more language than english

  • @isobodari1 That would be cool. But maybe you should learn English first before claiming to know more than one language.

  • what the guys says at 8:00 or so reminds me a lot of what was said in Deus Ex Human Revolution about augmentations

  • Lol think having a USB port sticking out your forehead...

  • I would rather die than have that crap put in my brain. You know the thing about chips and computers is that they can be wiped, refilled, reprogrammed, and remote controlled. Do you really want Big Brother's influence within your very mind?

  • @Talz1803 As will your mind too probably, if we get to that stage.

  • @Talz1803 just put norton 360 in your brain chip.

  • @Talz1803 What you're demonstrating is the same fear of the new that has always plagued humanity. Whenever there's a new technology, people have fanciful fears about what will happen. People were saying the same thing about the telegraph.

  • No thanks, I don't like that idea of my mind being changed at the push of a button.

  • Amazing

  • Wont solar flares or emp effect the chips inside the body if there strong enough??

  • Brain implants cool. I love neuroscience!

  • I like the brain implant surgery potential, but giving robots emotions and the ability to learn could turn our world into a bunch of real psychotic terminators. Even if you make them wimps that get scared like C3PO, eventually they will change, if we allow the programs to continue writing new programs themselves over time.

  • It will be grand.

  • 1:56 Am I the only who noticed or is this is really a scenery from great movie "Gattaca"?

  • After watching all 6 parts i have only one question...Did MIT just go out and hire somebody on LSD to design the buildings featured in this program?

  • electonic components superimposing holographic images in the brain that you can't turn off or escape sounds like a horror movie to me......

  • we are borg.........resistance is futile

  • i hope they can bring back stephen hawkins to normal with that brain implants

  • @danxiie He's that dissabled scientist on a wheelchair right?..

  • At the end, the result will always be the same; forgetfulness of our nown spiritual identity and the desire to control and exploit material nature more efficiently.

By the way, being aware that military science always runs 40 years ahead of 'civil' science, whatever technological feats that has been 'predicted' here for the future to come, the military have already realized.

  • hopefully we will only elect honorable and compassionate people into positions of responsibility and leadership only then can we guarantee what we create will be honorable as well.

  • one word ... singularity ...

  • I could use one of those hippocampus implants for my

  • fascinating, thanks.

  • Nice set of vids thank you. The toast will still burn sometimes in the morning (and equivalent things happen). In the end, everything is relative.

  • I would like to retain who I am as a person but enhance and augment abilities. That would be awesome.

  • @MMicro99

    My thoughts exactly!

    That really would be awesome!

  • STOP SELLING OFF PEOPLE FEARS... GO AWAY!

  • develop "chips" for humans?

    I sense DANGER here 1

  • @Akaliko There is always some kind of danger involved in these things, yes. As there was in researching nuclear/atomic energy. But one must also think of the vast benefits of these research avenues. From nuclear energy came weapons of unimaginable destructive power. But what also came of it was cleaner energy, no greenhouse gasses emitted. There are still waste materials, though. Now if this could be perfected by nuclear fusion with little waste material great benefit could arise. Same goes here

  • @tseng61 There's danger to everything, even sitting in your house. Anyway, I think it's futile to agree or disagree with scientific progress. It's going to happen no matter what you or I think so we might as well enjoy the process.
