Why is the Edge even in this movie? He has little to no skill as a guitarist, he even said it himself. "It's all effects." Jack White definitely made sense, Jimmy Page did, but the makers of the film should've gotten someone other than the Edge. Slash maybe?

The Edge's skills aren't at the level of White or Page, but his approach to guitar is different. he's not so focused on developing his skill as he is in creating a wide variety of sounds. White and Page are all about the guitar itself, but the guitar is just the last piece of a "sound puzzle" for The Edge.

I loved this movie. It's so inspirational and even funny. Jimmy is so charming and generous with his talent. The Edge and Jack White are amazing and innovative. I can't say enough good things about this film. I would recommend renting or buying the DVD (definitely in high-def) because the deleted scenes are great, especially Jimmy playing "Kashmir" with Jack and Edge.

This should have been a TV Series, not a movie. And each episode they should have had another 3 guitarists come together. John Frusciante Jeff Beck Kirk Hammett Eric Clapton Tom Morello Carlos Santana Eddie Van Halen Pete Townshend Robert Randolph Etc. This was a great idea to have guitarists of different times and different backgrounds come together and talk about what the guitar means to them. and with so many great guitar players around to talk about it....why not talk to a bunch
