the reason being is due to the viewers automatically assuming it's a "christmas" commercial. if you look at the video, it's surrounded with "christmas" trees which would of course represent christmas being the main focus of the advertisement.

Heres the deal kids.Gap is very pro liberal. This is a nice slap in the face to the republicans.. If you remember, the Dixie chicks and Sandy were all scorned in the media for making negative political statements about Bush & the republican party. This ad (in its comedic brilliance) is their revenge... well done ladies
