@EminemBase so is every motivational speakers there is or in these case marketing sales but still peopla make better decision when someone like seth motivates them
But it's because people started to TALK about these two, that they became successful. How many great products on the internet don't get talked about? And so they're not successful, although they're great.
Ideas that spread win, this is the corner stone of marketing. Focus on spreading your idea, focus on reaching your target audience, and you will never lose.
Great presentation, great ideas. Except he made up the part about the "failure" the inventor of sliced bread.
Rohwedder came up with the idea in 1912, but didn't patent it and open a factory until 1928. The first loaf of commercially sliced bread was sold in July 1928. Wonder began selling sliced bread in 1930.
Rohwedder sold SLICERS, Wonder sold BREAD. He sold his patent rights in 1933 and became VP to the manufacturer who bought them.
It all comes down to do you want the 20 yearold Elvis Presley shakin' his legs and hips singin' black music and stirrin' controversy as an innovator, or do you want that commercialized fat guy in a jewel studded suit singin' Vegas style musical shows?!?
Innovation gets people to the top, and then these people try to prevent innovation once their at the top because their scared of the next people who had vision the way they HAD it!!!
This phrase starts to re-arrange, shift my mindset. You don't need to read a whole book, you don't need to listen thousands minutes of audio, just stick this phrase into your mind and you'll just catapult your business.
Wonderful advice, Seth, about "ideas that spread, win". Thank you for inspiring me!

"Ideas that spread win!" Who cares about your idea? Who needs it? Who will use it?
Get this right & you'll do well.

Very Right,
The question we all must ask when doing something,
Who will care? and Why? Have we asked if they will care ?
