  • I have a Superchamp XD and am very unhappy with it - I play a Fender USA Standard Maple Fretboard Strat and the amp is just too brittle and horrbly bright. Even chords sound unpleasant. Did changing the speakers and tubes help you? I'm thinking of cutting my losses of trying the Blues Juinor.

  • I SHOT THE SHERIFF... nice

  • Sounds awesome. I have a blonde xd and love it. take care of it....looks like it's discontinued

  • Nice playing man, my first string on my classic players 50s strat keep popin', i'm thinking of changing the saddles to the block type saddles.

  • @MrCaribbean Hey mate, I had the same problem. Take it to a guitar tech. It might be a case of the saddle being too far towards the pickups. it can happen when you set the intonation relying on some crappy tuner. That's what happend to me.

  • This is Reggae, Funk and a movie theme... where are the bluesy licks? Nice sound though.

  • Hey Mrsqupi, I own a silverface vibrochamp, & the cleans are amazing, and the natural tube breakup is just so creamy, I had GAS when I heard it the 1st time, so I bought it, for home use it is the perfect amp period, in the UK sf vibrochamps go for no less than £400, I swear mine sounded better than my silverface bassman, at low volumes it does, then the bassman starts to shine at 3-4 and leaves the champ standing, but its a big amp and it should, I am after a sf pr or dr next, pr better 4 home

  • bugera v22 or this hmmmm

  • @rrgert4 this, no contest really, if U like the sparkle fender cleans, then only fender will do that, I think fender amps are the best period, they just have that perfect clean sound, other amps are close, and some are very very similar, but fender still to my ears sound the best, they have the money and resources to get the best sounding amps out their, and money and resources means a lot in the amp world, dr z are great, but they like £2000, get a sf vibrochamp, great cleans & good breakup

  • @UKToneKing its on sale so

  • thats a great version of i shot the sheriff sounds better than clapton

  • Can I use this amp for concerts?

  • @OndrejCvrk I think that amp will handle small/medium concerts without any problems. Is quite loud and really powerfull!. Feel free to try it. Take care !:)

  • Loveeee it man, the strat and the amp both. I have the amp and I sware it sounds as good as my drri. Your strat sounds wonderful and I like your strumming work. Peace

  • @glassbottleblues Thnx :)

  • @glassbottleblues thanks a lot for your words. Now I don't have SCXD but im nowe trying VHT Special 6. Some movie will be published soon.

  • love your sound, man!

  • Hi did the tubes make much difference or compliment the speaker as have same amp and speaker & debating over tube upgrade ?

  • when i want my super champ louder I use a slave amp..see my video "fender super champ xd pushing 60 watts"

  • anyone have the stock tubes for cheap for sale? email me i need some..

  • i shot the sheriff? :)

  • @Nimrod9458 YEAH!! a little improvisation about it....

  • So, did you make the tube swap and the speaker swap at the same time? I'm just wondering how much of difference the tubes made compared to speakers?

    Nice sound!

  • What settings on the SCXD are you using? Sounds great!

  • Great playing and tone! I noticed when you were playing the James Bond theme you reached fore the tone control. Is there a tone control for the bridge pick up on this model as standard or is that a feature you customised yourself ? I was thinking about getting one of these guitars and I am looking for as much information as possible about them. Thanks In Advance

  • @newjersey73

Hello:) Thanks for your e-mail and watching my video. Well... in my Classic Player bridge pickup tone control was standard. I bought it new so it wasn't modded at all. In my opinion these are really great guitars for price. I like it most with 9's nickel plated strings ( im using Italian made Galli Strings) and a little lower action than factory setup - i very like this twangy slapy sound. Great pickups to ( Custom Shop '57/ '62 ). Feel free if you have some further questions :)

  • got some questions for you about your amp. i put some fender groove tubes in my scxd and it is realy heavy on the high end... before you replaced your speaker and tubes did this problem exist?

  • @roughinitoutdoors1

Hello:) i didn't have this problem. In my scxd sound was to muddy for me. I decided to try JJ 6V6s and JJ 12AX7 with Jensen C10R and now it shines :) Especially with nickel Galli strings. Send me an e-mail if you have some further questions. :))

  • The tone is sublime dude.Is this loud enough for small gigs or jamming with the guys and a drummer?

  • @SRV1DOORS1HENDRIX1

Hi :) I used it on gigs and scxd played very well. The only problem may be a 10'' speaker but is matter of tone that you want to get. I like this 10'' sound. You can also use extension cab if you want deeper sound. Take care :)

  • Great playing!

    Great tone!

    You are a great player!

  • @localhero635

thank you very much..... take care !

  • I've read that JJ 6V6 tubes produce more volume than other 6V6. Did you notice any difference after the tube change? And, did you re-bias the amp after changing tubes?

  • @rickinbutler

thanks for your mail. well, i wouldn't say that amp is louder now maybe sound is more clear, brighter and go thought the mix. I think that amp have better response for articulation. I didn't re-bias amp only repleced tubes.

    Take care. Pitt
