@scienceatheism I agree.But I don't think the remaining native americans are holding any grudges now...they just moved on inspite of the brutal history. American history is nothing to proud of inspite of what they claim...or any country's history for that matter.
I think in the end peace shouldn't be disrupted. That's what I was saying.
I just hope israel and palestine make peace and go back to respecting 1965 borders...a deal I think benefits the region

@scienceatheism But there is a big difference. In one case Israel is the attacker and the palestinians are the ones thats never given a fair deal in any of the peace offers. Palestinians never had any control of their destiny
In the other case Europeans are the attackers, who even though wiped out the natives, in the end let them have their lives.

Check out Noam Chomsky. He is "far left." I wouldn't use the right-wings attempts at identifying what they call the "far left." It's pretty much a joke and shows how narrow their view of the political system and world is. Obama or most all democrats are hardly far left. Most are centrists. A good amount center-right. A few are center-left. What we call dems here are considered right in other countries. Chomsky is on youtube. He is de facto censored in the US but not elsewhere.

Maher is usually fair, he's secular and progressive in many ways, but he IS a Zionist (which is not a curse by the way, it is the universal political identification of those who support the State of Israel). Maher regularly dances around condemning ANY Israeli atrocities, for example the episode when Oliver Stone brought up the Turkish flotilla raid, he was instantly accosted and ridiculed by Maher.
