They weren't banned, they(Till and Flake) were arrested because of the way they preformed Bueck Dich. Why they haven't come back is up for debate. SOAD sings much worse things about the U.S. The only songs by Rammstein I see that could have reference to the U.S. is Amerika, and Zerstoeren.
