I'm surprised that more people didn't know that Ms Carroll sang. Her career started on Broadway in musicals! Look up "No Strings". Then came Julia and so on. The woman is a treasure.
When she first appeared on Dynasty & Alexis found out who she was, Alexis talked down to Dominique about her being a night club singer and during her run on the show she only sang a few songs but they should have had a segment where they celebrated Dominique's singing career and showed clips of her past work on TV especially the great duet she did with Judy Garland & that would have made Alexis eat her words. LOL! Also, it would have given fans the chance to see her real talent for singing.
What show was this? It looks like it was an ABC advertisement for a fall line-up. I sure would like to see the entire show. Could you please post it? Thanks

She is a gorgeous woman with a gorgeous voice.. but I wish she would have picked a different song. This one does not show her vocal range or powerful voice at all!

Man what a singer, right up there with Barbra Streisand, Lena Horne, Ella Fitzgerald, Ethel Merman, Sinatra, the greats!!!! They damn well don't sing like this anymore.
A song about owning all of New York...SOMEone wanted to make a statement about her character. Great performance, and she looks wonderful. But what the hell special is this from? I didn't know Dynasty did a variety hour outing LOL.
She looks good. I remember her as half-sister from Blake Carrington in Dynasty.
