You know, if you hold the button down for several seconds, it will run through the whole series of sounds. I am also hoping Art Asylum will do a Defiant and Voyager. Has anyone else had problems with this particular stand? Flimsy. Great product otherwise though.
This is the only one that instead of going through all the sound effects when the button is held down a lights only feature is activated without any sound. THis feature doesn't have an autosleep feature so you will need to turn the lights only feature off again. From what i understand the DST Enterpriose-D is gonna have an autosleep feature to alliminate this issue. I'll due a review onher when she comes out in late March of 2009.
I have the refit, i have problems with the way they have done the lighting, as they havnt painted the inside black or used foil so the lights shine through the plastic. i may fix this problem some time, if i can figure out how to take it apart. I have the same problem with the 1701 stand too, i think it has been done awefully and i cant get it to stand up properly, but putting some blu tac on the ball top of the stand helps!!
Yes the stand is flimsy. Mine even broke near the top. It's a great ship but the stand doesn't hold it up very well. The stand should be able to hold the ship in any position but it can't or not for very long anyway. I don't know why they haven't fixed this by now.
Yeah I would like to see a USS Defiant from DS9, I just got a USS Enterprise E its really cool but it says light engines but only the Bussard Ramscoop part of the Nacelle lights up anyone with comments let me know.
It looks like theres a small green light at the rear of the ship (not sure which area its called) but it doesn't light up on mine. Is this a working light? Not sure why its there otherwise. Thanks.
People buying these 1701 Art Asylum models beware. Make sure you insist on the 'classic' original 1701 that this demo shows, if that is what you actually want, as there are two other variants called 'The Cage' (no lit nacelles as in the pilot episode of TOS called 'The Cage', but with bridge lights and Cptn Pike voice effects), and there's a 'Where no Man Has Gone Before' variant that also differs slightly (unsure how). The classic one is the best!

Actually the 'where no man has gone before' edition does that as well. Have you noticed the defect where Ente is smaller than rprise?

I would definitely like to see them make a Voyager with moving warp engines. Maybe an Enterprise B, C or Excelsior too.

No its not a working light. just a transparent bulb shaped piece above the main shuttle bay.
