nigeria is more like a curse both home and abroad ,its obvious we need a new identity free from the tyranny of nigeria, the easterners are a self sustaining people who thrive if given the chance,,Biafra is freedom from the terror of terrorist government like nigeria,,,,,,,,darkness and light have no business together,,,......truth is light
"Leader of the Movement for Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra(MASSOB), Chief Ralph Uwazurike has called for the trial of the former president of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo for what he called the genocide which the former president committed while in office." -- This Day Newspapers. Friday May 9, 2008.
Headline: British Envoy Deplores Use of Firearms on MASSOB members.
Story: "The High Commissioner(Mr. Richard Grozny) equally used the opportunity to demand that all the personnel found to have actively participated in wasting human lives during the MASSOB protest a fortnight ago should be brought to book, since it is against democratic principles." -- Vanguard Saturday December 17, 2005. There's since been no justice for about 2000 MASSOBIANS killed by Obasanjo's "security" forces.
"...the South-East is the only zone in the country without an international airport..the zone has the least number of states, local government areas and the least monthly allocation from the federation account." --- Ralph Uwazurike. Vanguard Newspapers. Tuesday November 6, 2007.
Nigeria is what you see it to be.I believe in my country, I have no other country to call my own.Ojukwu travels on a Nigerian passport, so why are you fooling yourself. He has forgotten totally about Biafra, he contested for Presidential elections..He said Biafra is dead in 1970, from the moment he ran away like a coward
"Just a few days ago another Igbo man was dragged out of police custody and beheaded. That is why I am talking of Biafra. Because there is no security of lives and property of the Igbo in Nigeria, and in as much as there is no security, life is more important than anything. If the lives of our people are not secured in Nigeria what else do we want, and what else are we asking for?" ---- Ralph Uwazurike. Daily Sun. Friday August 1, 2008.
One last question? WHY IS THAT WHEN THERE IS CRISIS IN ANOTHER PART OF THE COUNTRY. IBO RUN BACK HOME TO THEIR SHANTY VILLAGES, WHY CANT THEY STAY IN IBOLAND AND DEVELOP IT LIKE OTHER TRIBES HAVE DONE!!!!
Confirming what the people of Biafra could easily predict, the so-called "leaders" foisted over Biafrans have remained either silent in the face of it, or are in support of the systematic undermining of the human and civil rights of Biafrans, even right within Biafran territory, of which there is no better or more deadly example of shirking of responsibilities.
"I just want to do God's will. And he's allowed me to go to the mountain. And I've looked over, and I've seen the promised land! I may not get there with you, but I want you to know tonight that we as a people will get to the promised land."
"There is no easy walk to freedom anywhere, and many of us will have to pass through the valley of the shadow of death again and again before we reach the mountaintop of our desires."

"Nigeria as it is today, is not a nation. We did not think that just because the British created it this way, we were all bound by it.."
