a friend of my sister's was recently diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor and went into surgery today. he sent an e-mail to his friends and co-workers. he closed his his e-mail with a quotation by Hafiz, who wrote: "When all your desires are distilled, you will cast just two votes: To love more. And be happy."
