@253magnum Marduk killed Armor King I which was King II's master. That's why in Tekken 4 King II seek revenge from Marduk, but let him live in the end.

At the start of Tekken 5, King II saw Marduk wearing Armor King's mask and challenged King II, after the fight, Marduk stated that he wasnt the imposter, thus King II and him became friend.

In Tekken 6, King II and Marduk decided to compete in TKOIF Tournament 6, to learn the true identity of the man wearing Armor King's mask (Armor King II)

Finally, Armor King defeats Devil with my personal favorite move, his finisher, the Jaguar Screwdriver!

From the gate, you stormed out performing hardcore moves. Armor King practically drove Michelle straight to hell with that Piledriver. Paul sold the knee bash Armor King defeated him with, making it look like his nose was broken before he flipped over. Lei's lights were knocked out by that face shattering punch. Yoshimitsu's head was became a jackhammer once Armor King hit the tombstone piledriver on him. Heihachi was nearly swung off the face of the Earth. Nina suffered the same fate as Paul.

I was just checking to see why he wasn't in Tekken 3 and I found another reason why.

The first King was attacked and supposedly killed by Ogre. However, Armor King saw a new fighter with a jaguar mask step into the wrestling ring in order to save the orphanage, and Armor King decides to train him to become the second King.

And it was Tekken 4 where he was killed by Marduk and that is why King II entered, for revenge
