The sound on that stage is horrible. If you listen closely you can hear Gadd, Levin, Gale, and Tee doing their stuff. Its most obvious during their solo. Their sound is deadened by before it gets to us, the audience. What is amazing is how respected the awards were back in 81. They are all wearing Tuxedo's just to play a song. As for the award, what talent that year, and Loggins won?
