starting 31 yrs. on the road, drove for a lot of trucking companys over the years, 5 times married. and still trucking. back in the 70's a good friend of mine was driving so i use to skip school and go with him all the time. then about 1972 he was killed in a bad truck wreck, but i still got into it. my dad drove for years. i was lucky enought to team up with him a few times over the years. i would not change anything, trucking has been good to me. take care and god bless you all. roger

Irregular route 48 states, I'll take my home time when I need it, but what ya want if you're a blood bred and born trucker is your mistress, the road. There's a love affair with it. Lots of drivers go OTR, decide to try regional or local and wind up back where they started, they go back for more. See ya out there

In northern Europe we have something called onspot. It's a kind of automatic snowchains, not as good as real chains though.

Do you have anything like that in Canada?
