I agree that the show was better. BUT, because it was animated, so much more things could be done. But I also do believe that M. night's "real" version could have been done so much better because of all the special effects we have today! Don't know if they had a low buget when making it but damn. The animated show is always going to be better than anything. Even the music in it. If you compare the music from the show to the movie, you'd think the animated music belongs in an actual movie!

Worst part is that in the cartoon the earth benders were imprisoned by the fire benders in a place with no earth, so obviously the benders couldnt do much.
