  • What traffic signal controller did you use?

    Lucas

  • @lbrendse For these lights, I controlled them manualy with one of my homemade controllers.

  • @lbrendse

Thanks for getting back to me how hard is it to make

    Lucas

  • @lbrendse You're welcome. It's not really hard. The hardest part was fitting the wire through the small tubes and making the traffic lights themselves. I plan on making many more with different set ups.

  • how were you able to wire all of this!!?? These are so small, the wires have got to be microscopic!

  • @361DegreesShow The wires are small enough that I can fit 8 of them into the space of of a caprieson drink draw. Sometimes, I have to build the wire into the structure for things such as HO scale crossing gate lights. Al of the main wiring is done on the control board that way only essential wires are connected t the lights.

  • @newcadet I don't know what you use, and I may be late to the party, so to speak.... but consider the little surface-mount LEDs for your gate lights on the crossing signals. Among the other perks of using them, they will look like some of the new LED gate lights that are used in the real world. :-)

  • @fgossage I know exactly what you mean about the LED lights on the gates. They do look very similar to the real ones.

  • What is with the blue lights?

  • @douro20 Blue lights or confirmation lights are found on Florida traffic signals. They are used by the police to catch red light runners. When the light is red, the blue light is on.
