Snooky never played lead w the Tonight Show band-in the NYC days it was people like Bob McCoy & Jimmy Maxwell. In L.A. it was always Johnny Audino, after Audino passed away in late '89 Chuck Findley took over as the lead player. Snooky, howver (along w Conte Candoli) did the wonderful solo work.
