Why giga impact on Metagross? Think about it, that is a normal type attack. It is super effective on nothing and you don't get Same Type Attack Bonus with it. It is useless, your opponent had the same thing with Hyper beam on kingdra. If you want a good move set try Zen Headbutt and meteor mash for your STAB and than your thunder punch and either Ice/Fire punch or protect, or even Bullet punch for a finisher
