@SYNERGiST agreed. for some reason every few times i try to add music to it, it will tell me it's full. even though there's over 2 GB left. even when i deleted everything off it, it told me there were 2 GB left. i had to reformat the entire thing. conclusion: it's a piece of shit.
So I just got the fuze+ and I only really bought it to play flac files. Since I discovered flac I don't bother with MP3 anymore. The issue I'm having is with album artwork. Can't seem to figure out or find any info on how to tag each song with the artwork. I dragged and dropped and got no artwork. So I used my media monkey flac player to load music and got artwork on the last song of the album only. Any suggestions?
@heinzkitzvelvet UPDATE: Never mind. I figured it out. All I had to do was click a check box in Media Monkey and it worked. Thanks anyway. For anyone using media monkey 4.0.2.1462 to sync ur fuze+ and having album art issues its very ez. Click tools (at the very top of window) >Options>Portable/Audio Devices>Sansa Fuze+>Configure>Options>Tagging>Sync all artwork to file folders>folders.jpg. Media Monkey does the rest.
I had a question about the fuze's micro SD card slot.
When I place my micro SD card into the slot, it sticks out from the fuze by like 1/4 a centimeter so that is potential for the card to get caught and fall out. But what's worse is that the fuze doesn't read my card! I have to MANUALLY PUSH the card in completely with my finger and then the memory refreshes and the fuze can read it. But WHEN I LET GO, the card STICKS OUT AGAIN and the fuze can't read it anymore. Its the same with the fuze+.
its sad to hear yours got stolen. I'm going order a 1st gen fuze. I have a little Sansa clip which still works pretty well though the plastic clip has a slight crack in it. Still impressive after 3 years now i think. I shudder to think i would have bought a ipod nano for twice the price.

Take some riddlin and wash it down with a pint of crown and relax dude. Ur trying to push it faster that what its capable of going, then complaining because ur gratification isnt quite as instant as you demand it should be. I'm gonna play with the menus and features for about 30 minutes and then I'm gonna turn on some music and let the thing do what I bought it to do. Chillax already.
@heinzkitzvelvet Its slower than your average sansa player and more than most players. Don't hate the reviewer for his opinions and simple facts. The firmware is laggy, seems to me like it needs a little update to sort it out
@thebluespiritpsn There is no hate going on here. Just because I disagree with the guy doesn't mean I hate him but he needs to relax. Perhaps a firmware update would help some. If the thing doesn't move as fast as you want it to then hating on the thing won't make it go any faster. I had the 1st gen fuze. It was nice, but it had it's issues too. It fell apart. On/off switch broke. had to pause it to turn it off and plug it in to turn it on. But I loved it. Got stolen, so sad.
Fuze+ Sucks. I liek the fact that it gives you the freedom of a micro SD card, but the controls are so BAD. Just try to change radio stations when listening to the radio and you can see how frustrating it can be to use the touch controls. Before with the old style I was able to pretty much do anything without having to look at the screen. Not anymore. Plus the touch controls most of the time swing between unresponsive and super sensitive.
So in plus one can expand memory up to 48 GB(if I buy 8GB version?). And if I fill whole memory with music, how slow would it be? Better to buy old sansa fuze?
@SteamAlchemist put in a Sandisk micro-SD/microSDHC card(the same tiny card that adds storage to most standard cell phones) to expand the storage space for your library-videos,photos,music, audio books, podcasts -and you're good to go.
@jaylynn2500 ^^ funny! I'm asking, for in my country 32gb or greater one is so expensive, that's why I want to ask sb that own sansa fuze+ and make him try 32 or greater memory to use( you said if 8gb player one can expand it up to 48 so I quess 40gb card is maximum) and I want to have it clear simply
The Fuze + looks very similar to Zune, I had a Zune and the touch controls on it were excellent, much better than the iPod circle thing if you ask me, it gives more control and makes everything faster.
ive had ipods for years and some older sandisks, but all other companies have gone out of business, I am after the old fuze with the wheel button in 8gb, any good? I love drag and drop mp3 players and sandisk has been the best ive had so far
I'm looking for a good sound quality 16GB mp3-player without touch pad or touch screen. Can anyone please recommend anything? All the new 16 GB players seem to have touch pads!
@47crazed Thanks for the advice. I looked sanza Fuze up and it is hard to come across here in <sweden, Sandisk is pushing the Fuze+ and the Sanza Fuze can't be found in any swedish shops... I checked the Sony Walkman too, but they have a volume issue here in the EU... I'm leaning towards a Cowon J3.. they do have a touch screen, but at least they seem to have GOOD touch screen.
@dzon23eNcore i saw a video somewhere that the fuze + moved much faster when you swipe the touchpad i think it received a software update or something
Totaly dig the anythingbutipod. I seen your fuze+ music with the choce "add to shuffle", does it work like the zune in that aspect where you can add songs to the random shuffle without sacrificing the shuffle? That is without having to sacrifice the random shuffle to pick a song? (like ipod) Also, what is the maximum expandable memory for the ragular fuze (with the wheel) at 8 gb?
I agree with you man.
