I found the rare raptor and killed him, didnt get anything good...BUT than next to her i found a nest, picked up the egg and got my hatchling. Sold for 300 gold! thanks for this video.

@ShadowWolfPrime Well, I did post this almost 7 month ago so the hype has died down a little; however, under 100g for the RAZORMAW one (maybe the deviate could go for 100g) is exceptionally low...they are still 500-750 on my servers.

ok i got a hathling and it was from dart in the barrens now is the problem.. these hatclings only sells for 400g on my server! and i used all day trying find something and only found dart, so bad ass luck i think because i tried to tjek the other raptors drops in wow there is 4 more then dart, but the only one i founf the hole day was dart.. think i was pretty unlucky to not find any more!.

Because after 3.3 they dont drop anymore they drop some eggs shortly after another place around where the raptor respawn and in the eggs the raptor drop :)

the matriarch no longer spawns the egg but the area he killed them in does spawn the next i was dumb lucky and just happened to see it

@TheMuziekmann sadly, they don't drop anymore. Instead you have to look for thier nest. It should be right next to them. This goes for all the hatchlings.

They changed how the raptor drops work a few patches ago - now you must find the Razormaw Matriarch's NEST somewhere in the cave. Same spawn timer on the nest, just find it and loot it.

I already knew about this spawn but forgot what the raptor was called... so I watched this to find its name then I went in the cave killed it.... and only got a pair of 'Jurassic Wristguards' which isnt going to bring any money.... Did they maybe nerf the drop chance?

It only drops from the 'nest' which has a 5-6 hour spawn time and spawns somewhere on the ground in the cave.

If you really wanna make gold u need to farm whats know as an "Asian Hatchling" a small slant eye'd companion trained to farm elementals 24 hours a day. They are by no means a rare drop rate and are becoming more populated on oceanic servers.

Only about 7 of the 281 pages of my guide are devoted to various instance farming locations. There are hundreds of other strategies... Just so you know, I DO NOT farm anymore (I have 350,000 gold, I don't have to). I spend about 30 minutes a day going through my normal routine of making gold (ALL included in my guide) and I collect about 2-3,000g per day from just that 30 minutes work. Now, it'll take you more than 30min (prob 1 hour) at first, but you'll get faster as you learn to do it better
