  • Beautifully done, but vio too big? Poor baby. Pushed to the limit. Parents are such idiots sometimes...

  • she'll be fine

  • @YGYGYGYGYGYGYGYGYG10 well that's just how us Chinese roll...lol...when my dad played violin he started out with a full but he was supposed to be playing with like a half...the thing is a violin costs too much in china...in the U.S. a good one is probably abotu $1000 but a dollar is equal to about 6 or 7 Chinese Currency (yuan/ ren men bi/ I don't know what you prefer just fill in the blank) so it's like $6-7000...cut parents some slack...I played a big instrument but it lets you get used to it

  • @YGYGYGYGYGYGYGYGYG10 i dont get it when ppl say chinese parents push their children too much. Im a chinese myself and i always felt grateful bout my mum canning me for not getting 100 in my exams or not practicing my piano long enough when i was younger. But i wished my parents would push me even harder on my piano so could finish my diploma faster, but they weren't pianist themselves so they dont really know what to expect, only judged me based on what my teacher says.

  • @YGYGYGYGYGYGYGYGYG10 and lifeless..

  • I thought that spiccato and sautille were not the same thing ?

  • You're right, they're not, but they are often used in similar context. Here, the 0:16-0:25 is mostly sautille, while 0:39-0:45 is very spiccato.

Roughly put, spiccato is the "bouncing" stroke (make a "v" or "u" with bow-path, using wrist support). Sautille is the "finger-flex" stroke (flex your bow-fingers or wrist to play quickly, using your thumb and pinky for support).

  • excuse me...but spiccato and staccato is the same thing? o.o

  • Spiccato is only relevant to bowed instruments, as its is a bowing technique. It produces a staccato sound though. So yeah, in that sense they are the same thing, but staccato is an articulation term, while spiccato is a technique name.

  • anyways spicato involves bouncing the bw, is not just... staccato for bow instruments, you can make an staccato without taking the bow up from the strings.... while spicatto is exactly that: bouncing it :)

  • Phenomenal playing!

  • soo young and sooo good

    i'm jealous

  • wow good1

  • omg :O

  • BRAVO!!!
