Correction, HRH Queen Monineath is indeed half Vietnamese and was born in Saigon in 1936. I Googled it. Thanks!!

Well there you go then, You GOOGLED it, I guess it sure beats going to the library and doing some real work by reading books huh? Geez I wonder how many qualified & credible scholars & writers have contributed to the information in the GOOGLE site!!! Just because she "could have" been born in Saigon does not make her "half Vietnamese". I would love to check out the google site you went to. I don't mind sharing the name & authors of the books I've read or own myself.

Monique Izzi is an Italian and Vietnamese blood. You can deny it if you want. It is the fact. Sihanouk met her during the beauty contest. There are many well-known Australians and Europeans who specialize on Sihanouk say the same thing. I am surprise you the only one who do not know that.

The Queen mother, Queen Monineath is a daughter of Madamme Pomme Peang a Cambodian Royal & Jean-Francois Izzi, a French-Italian banker. Queen Monineath is the granddaughter of HRH Prince Norodom Duongchak of Cambodia on her mother's side.
