@Seriouslysimone Yeah but the point is and i think the first two movies did well in , was show that even if daniel would pay the consequence later for things such as getting his ass kicked, he would still do them if he felt somone moral wronged him and his family/friends. What makes no sense is in part 3 they turned daniel into a complete coward...and im sorry but in part to Daniel was willing to risk his life and fight to the death if needed to, they guy in part III shouldn't of even phased him

@Seriouslysimone No no , trust me they were not that indepth to think that threw in the third movie , they thought by making daniel a complete wimp would somehow make in the....underdog in the third movie and it would make it look like daniel was facing his toughest oponite. Even thoughm y opinion is who daniel faced in parts I & II is much toucher than who he faced in 3. If he was willing to fight somone to the death....the person he fought in 3 should of been nothing.

@Seriouslysimone lol since were on the subject of karate kid II , and this is called " The Karate Kid II" best scenes i feel like 7 minutes and 12 seconds does this unjustice. In order to show us the best of karate kid II he/she would have to show us the movie from begining to end. As much as i liked the first movie i think the second wins in all aspects such as storyline, the growing bond of teacher/ student, the music score and in fight scenes. Wish i could say the same for III >_<

I can't remember who said it but basically the problem with KK III was the KK II set the standard for everything after the original Karate Kid. To wit, To have Daniel forget everything he was taught in the first two films and then fight for anything less than his life as he did in part II was pretty much absurd and insulting to the Miyagi character and it hurt Daniel's growth as a character as well.

You have to give credit to the director. He takes the second movie and makes it surpass the first. Yes i think this surpasses the first movie. he added new great characters, new setting. And he still kept that good Karate Kid feeling to it. THIS MOVIE ROCKS.
