@sarahbledsoe1 You don't absolutely 100% NEED to curl it, but I would definitely recommend to! Without the curls, the hair wouldn't bend as easily and you will have a lot of stray hairs popping out everywhere! I would give it a try though and see how it turns out! Anyway, thanks for watching! : )

@ImTheAsianChick13 If you look on my website, I actually did this hairstyle on one of my customers who had shoulder length hair with TONS of layers! I just looped the piece of hair through another loop once and then pinned it! So even if you have layers you can definitely do this hairstyle! : )
