@100impulsive actually the correct meaning of Gorakh dhanda is ' a very complicated process or procedure' which can only be understood by very few people who would have the expertise and knowledge required.
@sshakababy Gorakh Dhanda means something which is utterly incomprehensible.
A Hindu saint named Gorakhnath (also called Gorakshnath and simply, Gorakh) was supposed to be a perfect master of Yoga and his miraculous deeds surprised everyone. So, Gorakh Dhandha is a reference to "business of gorakh" which is mysterious and beyond comprehension of mere mortals.
The singer here uses the term for GOD.
Gorkha soldiers consider Gorakhnath their ancestor.
This was the first time I listened to The Legend Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, I forgot to move from my seat for 4 hours and became a Mureed of Qawali and USTAD. I was one of the fortunate ones to see Ustad live
I don't think even imran khan knew what was going on, I am sure he does now. You have to know little bit of Quran to really appreciate the lyrics. I wish Aziz miya had sung this as well. No comparison to nfak but he had good command of all the languages used in these lyrics. I bought the album from itune for $10 recorded in 1991. Anyone know when was the last time he had performed this.
Because the tireless person he was, in his later performance his urdu pronunciation was much better, I think!
@yoursamrit2000 This is a Cancer Charity concert performed by Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Qawwal And Party organised by Imran Khan at Intercontinental Hotel in London 3rd December 1992. All the clips from this show are already on youtube by someone else.
