Press Shift + F1 (or F2 up to F0) to save state, and just F1 (or F2 up to F0) to load that state again. So you can have up to 10 save states for each game. Don't worry about the language, I'm not the best at English either :-)

You probably need to go to File -> Open ROM then choose the rom, then NES -> Eject/Insert disk. Possibly use the Switch side.

If it doesn't work, you don't have the FDS-bios or the rom is corrupt. Get another one.

it keeps saying the rom is bad and the same happens with the same game from all the few sources i could find.. your rom works beautifully but you said not to ask where you got roms... : (

@Dave15166 Okay, I'm assuming you mean that you're trying to load a rom, not upload...

I don't really know, it could be that the rom is broken, and it could be that the emulator has some error. Try downloading another rom from somewhere else on the web. If that doesn't work, try re-installing the emulator. You could have downloaded a "broken" emulator from a not-so-serious website.

@Mr8bitgamer Yeah, that seems to be a common problem with FCEUX lately, DirectDraw won't work in fullscreen it seems on modern computers.

My advice to you is just to maximize the window instead. Works like a charm.

@bosnia91 Well, that depends on what version of the emulator you have. I have version 2.1.3-interim svn1726 and just press "Pause/Break" on your keyboard, or try pressing "P" (as in Pause).

Else look for Pause in the menu, mine is under NES -> Emulation Speed -> Pause.

Okay... well I don't know exactly what your problem might be, but be sure that the rom is genuine. Could be a fake one.

On the emulator there's a button for recording what you play however.
