  • @dandare1970 I have been playing guitar for most of my life (I am 60) recently lost alot of use in my left hand and have been working on slide guitar in open D 'cause it allows me to play again. You just gave me my next months work! Thank you man!! I love it.. So simple... yet so much real cool music going on!

  • @Irishike Hi Irish, sorry to hear that mate, one of my best friends had a simuler thing happen , (smashed his shoulder in) he was so frustrated, & sadly he past away 5 years bk to at the age of 35, left me with no one to play giuter with , but still, im glad i have given you some insperation :)

  • Great Ry Cooder - cover, the ending actually is taken from Cooder's Soundtrack to "Paris, Texas".

    It is hard not to mix up that sondtrack with "Crossroads" when you learn Cooder, I know.

  • hi . i'm trying to find the ry cooder video that was played on muchmusic , canada back in 1986 /1987 for the movie " crossroads"it was called " the crossroads " or the crossroads blues " .it was a montage of scenes from the movie and at the end it had the camera pulling back from a little shack with ry cooder in it and lighting flashing when it ended , its a real good version
