Maidened my Blue nose yesterday, eflite power 110 on 8 cells turning a 2 blade 17x 10. I have to say that after the H9 spit this is a peach to fly and land. Mounted the CG about 0.5 inch forward of the recommended, so what I got was a gentle drift earthwards on finals and greaser landings every time. Shame H9 didnt put this much thought into the spit! Love the four blader, how much power loss do you think you get compared to your stock 2 blade?
I see you like your models modified!! Power 32 in the eflite Pitts and now a power 110 in the mustang !! Does it call for a power 90 ad a mod for this plane rather than a power 60 ? Is there any mod to get the power 110 mounted or is it bolt on ....
nice plane great maiden. I have a p51 foam with a 57" wingspan. Himax motor on 4000 mah 40c 3s I get 12 min flight time with great vertical using 12x8 prop. Gas engines are a thing of the past for me.
EXCELLENT choice of music! My grandma was a teenager in Englad through WW2 and she loved Glenn Miller. I got into his music as a kid too and he's the main reason I started saxophone when I was 10. Nice flying too!
Great question. Is a matter of choice on which way you want to go, there are pro's and con's to both. I myself like tha gas.. Longer flight times and the sound,, ..Thanks Tim
@YourFriendlyMe Not really just the Gas has a little more power and during take off the electric motor can really add torque to the tail where the gas is smoother..Tim
@chavez1007 on this flight I went 3 MIn just getting the feel for it but she can go 5-6 min if you take an easy with her.. thanks for all your comments.
Just wanted to say great video's!! from opening the box to maiden flight! Real nice build to watch and the end result 1 great looking plane!! Well done!!
Wow what a niice plane...take off and landing is great. I would like to know where did you buy the 4 blades and spinner. Please can you sent me a link where to purchased the blades & spinner. I am buying a Blue nose mustang like to know also what is your setting.
@obet104 sure got to Zinger props dot com give them a call and they should be able to help you. You will need to know motor shaft Dia for both spinner and prop

@yankphan100 it call for power 60 but since I was going to run a 4 bladed prop I went with the power 110 to turn it..Thanks for the great comment.
