The Secret Ansem Reports had everything necessary that needed to be said about Castle Oblivion for the player. I'm sure the 3 in the title would imply, at the very least, a reasonable "enveloping" of the important details of the portable games.

My only concern is kingdom hearts 3 is probably gonna take so long that either it will be one of the las t few ps3 games, or we may not even see it till the ps4. @billyzanesucks Well actually every kingdom hearts game is really a main game they all give important pieces to the story. I worded it wrong, its not a numbered game. Like kingdom hearts 1 and 2 are on consoles, They tend to only put the numbered titles on the big consoles. Who knows tho, maybe someday in the future they'll make a big console version for this game like they did for Rechain of memories.
@Needless957 Not necessarily. At least Chain of Memories is considered a spin-off. We just refrain from that term because it suggests that it's unconnected to the main story. KH, KHII, BBS, and 3D have a standing above the rest.

Because of course 3D and BBS are major to the plot line, and Chain of memories as well, its pretty much the equivalent to 3D, so I'm sure players who won't play 3D and go straight to 3 will probably be fine, just missing some plot points that are there to build up KH3. Just like chain of memories and KH2. Other than that u just have KH coded right? Tho that one does build up to 3D at the end of the game.

I'm saying that, in general order of importance, they go:
1. KH, KHII, BBS, 3D
2. CoM, Days, Coded
BBS and 3D were never considered spin-offs; just CoM, and any game that's not numbered or said to be on par with a numbered title.

3D isn't an in-between game, since KHIII hasn't been started, and this game is of equal stance to a numbered game.
The thing is that CoM started development after KHII did. The story of KHII was already developed without the intent of making a game between. Nomura thinks of CoM as a spin-off because he felt that he had given enough with KHII.
@billyzanesucks thats pretty much the only reason y i said they were all technically main stories because they are all connected and play a roll to the story line, but if coded wasn't there, i don't think it'd make a difference so i guess that ones a side story. O wait i forgot 5/368 or watever its called. I never played that one so i don't really no how necessary to the plot line it is besides giving back story on roxas.
@5757Gamer The story is very complex. The creator, Tetsuya Nomura has stated that the story had become so complicated in Kh3D that he had to find a new way of telling it. I advise you to play Kh1, Kh2 and BBS first since those are the main titles. Maybe Chain of Memories too since you might get confused when playing Kh2 because there's a year between it and the original.

Axel, being a nobody, was originally called Lea. The whole of Organization XIII follows this naming pattern (an 'x' added to their original names) If you play BBS (AN AMAZING GAME) and 358/2 days, it will probably help you understand. If only people realised that these 'Sidestories' are necessary... BBS has even been called KH 0...

@MakeupByTati Well, it's a fact that it's not a remake. Especially considering how almost all locations, events, and quite a few characters are completely new. Actually, none of the KH games are remakes besides Re:CoM and Re:Coded. Days had characters from KHII and worlds from KH (besides Beast's Castle). EVERY event was changed. It's similar for the rest of them.

I wanted sora to Look more old with a newer costumes, alot more new characters and monsters, a New theme song or music, more different locations from alot more disney film. @billyzanesucks Well actually every kingdom hearts game is really a main game they all give important pieces to the story. I worded it wrong, its not a numbered game. Like kingdom hearts 1 and 2 are on consoles, They tend to only put the numbered titles on the big consoles. Who knows tho, maybe someday in the future they'll make a big console version for this game like they did for Rechain of memories.

@Needless957 Not necessarily. At least Chain of Memories is considered a spin-off. We just refrain from that term because it suggests that it's unconnected to the main story. KH, KHII, BBS, and 3D have a standing above the rest.

Because of course 3D and BBS are major to the plot line, and Chain of memories as well, its pretty much the equivalent to 3D, so I'm sure players who won't play 3D and go straight to 3 will probably be fine, just missing some plot points that are there to build up KH3. Just like chain of memories and KH2. Other than that u just have KH coded right? Tho that one does build up to 3D at the end of the game.

@Needless957 No. Nomura considers CoM a spin-off, and considers 3D equal with a numbered game. Clearly, there will be bigger developments than there were in CoM.
I'm saying that, in general order of importance, they go:
1. KH, KHII, BBS, 3D
2. CoM, Days, Coded
BBS and 3D were never considered spin-offs; just CoM, and any game that's not numbered or said to be on par with a numbered title.

@billyzanesucks I didn't say they BBS and 3D were spin offs and i know they're not. BBs s a prequel, and 3DS is an in between game, i don't doubt the importance order at all. I also didn't doubt what u said that CoM is a spin off, but i am curious to know why he considers CoM a spin off.

@Needless957 I know you didn't. However, you implied that 3D wasn't that important, and people wouldn't miss much if they didn't play it.
3D isn't an in-between game, since KHIII hasn't been started, and this game is of equal stance to a numbered game.
The thing is that CoM started development after KHII did. The story of KHII was already developed without the intent of making a game between. Nomura thinks of CoM as a spin-off because he felt that he had given enough with KHII.

@billyzanesucks thats pretty much the only reason y i said they were all technically main stories because they are all connected and play a roll to the story line, but if coded wasn't there, i don't think it'd make a difference so i guess that ones a side story. O wait i forgot 5/368 or watever its called. I never played that one so i don't really no how necessary to the plot line it is besides giving back story on roxas.

@5757Gamer The story is very complex. The creator, Tetsuya Nomura has stated that the story had become so complicated in Kh3D that he had to find a new way of telling it. I advise you to play Kh1, Kh2 and BBS first since those are the main titles. Maybe Chain of Memories too since you might get confused when playing Kh2 because there's a year between it and the original.

Axel, being a nobody, was originally called Lea. The whole of Organization XIII follows this naming pattern (an 'x' added to their original names) If you play BBS (AN AMAZING GAME) and 358/2 days, it will probably help you understand. If only people realised that these 'Sidestories' are necessary... BBS has even been called KH 0...

They made KH1 then KH chain of memories "remake of the first one", KH2, KH: Recoded "remake of the 1nd one", KH Mobile "remake again", KH 358/2 days "remake of the second one", KH Birth by sleep "remake again", and now this one which another remake. @MakeupByTati Well, it's a fact that it's not a remake. Especially considering how almost all locations, events, and quite a few characters are completely new. Actually, none of the KH games are remakes besides Re:CoM and Re:Coded. Days had characters from KHII and worlds from KH (besides Beast's Castle). EVERY event was changed. It's similar for the rest of them.
