Well, boys and girls, this is indeed a Dodge Charger. These were built in Brazil all through the '70s. They are factory modified Dodge Dart bodies, powered mostly by 318 c.i. engines and 4-speed transmissions.

Remember, Jr. motorheads, that U.S. automakers produce vehicles in other countries just as the Japanese do. In the '70s, Chargers were built in the U.S., Australia, South America, and South Africa.

The roofline, hood, taillights, and dash are identical to the Dart that was marketed in the US. Several friends owned them. The grille is very different and I know that Chrysler DID market cars in other countries under Different names. This awesome, gorgeous sounding car appears to have the same body as a USA Dart but was labeled as Charger for marketting reasons. It sounds hot, LOVE IT!!

This is not a 1975 charger. Dodge only offered the hideously redesigned charger SE. If it is a 75 dodge car, it must be something like a cornet with a charger badge on it.

Though I'm partial to b-body Chargers, this is cool. It looks right out of Mad Max. It's got to be an Australian version, especially with AC/DC going. Australia put out some cool MOPARS. Ever see the Roadrunner? Friggin' weird. This is one cool car, man. I love it!

That goes without saying, but this is a Brazilian Charger, and they probably didn't even get the "B" body Charger there. This one is based on the "A" body but with a different front end and the extended "C" pillars (this was optional on Australian Pacers, called a "Mexicana). The US Charger in '75 was based on the Cordoba, so, by comparison, this one is far more exciting than what we got Stateside that year. Besides, imagine taking one of these to a car show and confusing people.

yeah that's right, we unfortunelly didn't get the B body here, and only a few b body chargers were imported i think actually there is about 15, 20 b body chargers in the whole country today =/

but our charger is pretty cool tough.
