PLEASE DUDE HELP MEE!!! I have just bought white hdmi cabel on a 42 plasma tv. i did everything but i have a audio problem. there is no audio, but sometimes when i i did something with the tv controller it works and sometimes it works by itself. SO PLEASE DUDE HELP ME!! I REALLY NEED TO PLAY SOON!! but when i quit the hdmi cabel, i got the audio so please tell me whas the problem as soon as u can!!! u rock btw ! max hdmi on my tv is 1080i
@playstation406 How come it only happens after say 4-5 hours straight or something? Also i choose "Audio Output" "HDMI" "Auto" and let it sort itself out?
It used to do it on my old TV so i cant rule that out either! i dont know what it is, everything has been swapped!!! Except HDD but i doubt that will cause it?
Yeah i have a PS3 slim now and a new HDMI cable and it has happened today. I have had it running all day but its still annoying not knowing why it does it!!!
@MaddogMonty Im not sure on movies as i play games a lot. I have got a new PS3 Slim now and ive only had it about a week. Mine has started doing this again. Either the blu-ray drive is going in this new one or it is my TV/HDMI Cable setup. Im going to try a different HDMI cable soon and see if this cures it.
i had static problems like that before, but VERY rarely, happened recently to me on dead island.......but that games one big glitch anyways

you need to select the correct audio formats on your ps3 audio settings so you can get rid of that sound.

i have the same problem i just use the red and white for sound but hdmi for video
