I am really enjoy that you are applying NVC to popular movies! This is a very engaging approach to learning NVC for me and I can imagine it is a great way to introduce it to others.
This is the first time I've ever commented on youtube, and I'm doing it to tell you to stop labeling your videos in a way that suggests it's going to be the whole movie.
@jonsayer Jon, I'm hearing that you're so upset, irritated & frustrated that you took time to comment, which is a first for you - you really want to be heard & understood. You were expecting one thing (entertainment) and got another (a tool for living). You want me to be clear with you, to label my video in such a way, that you can make a choice that you enjoy. Am I hearing you? If I am hearing you, are you willing to hear me? To see things through my eyes? Continued...
@jonsayer Clarity: While you’re watching the video, if you look towards the bottom of the screen, you’ll see I wrote, “Learn how to get what you want. Learn how to deal with difficult people… compassionate communication… free lessons, etc.” If you read the description, and don’t like it, after watching the video for only 10 seconds, you can leave the video. I’m trying to give you clarity. For me, NVC is a tool for living. The more tools I have on my toolbelt, the more continued…
@jonsayer success I have in my life. NVC has helped me solve problems, resolve conflict, and reach my goals. It has enriched my life beyond measure, and I want to share it with others. People might watch part 1 or 2, expecting the regular movie. But, 100s of people have watched parts 3-6 because they want a tool for living. Most of those people found NVC by searching for E. Brock. I’m enriching the lives of hundreds of people. That’s why I label it the way I do. Thanks 4 listening. Lisa
