Note: you use electricity and water. That means this is not an energy source. Hydrolysis is simple and you can do it at home. The reason this is a rediculus use of energy is you need to first convert fossil fuel to electricity at a 1 to 3 exchange. Why would you say something so stupid? Of course I have heard of it. That link I posted discusses it in depth. I am hoping that you mean we should get the electricity for hydrolysis from hydroelectric power and are not suggesting that the "HHO" is making use of hydroelectric power. As for getting electricity from hydroelectric power it is economically feasible to obtain 0.9 TW from hydroelectric power from the entire planet. The united states alone needs 3TW.
