Yeah, people looking for a firefight, there's no such thing here. I'm with the 1st Batallion 6th Marines, I expected hell, but 80% of the time, we never saw who was shooting at us. And the biggest fear is an IED hidden along the road somewhere because they don't have the balls to come and fight in the street.

Yeah, people looking for a firefight, there's no such thing here. I'm with the 1st Batallion 6th Marines, I expected hell, but 80% of the time, we never saw who was shooting at us. And the biggest fear is an IED hidden along the road somewhere because they don't have the balls to come and fight in the street.

And obviously ACOGs are used on the m4, m16, and m249... what ever the hell else you want to put it on. the gun it self doesnt matter, just the fuckin mounting rail. Also, the military doesnt just hand out optics like candy. its not uncommon for a soldier to buy his own ACOG, reflex or holographic before deployment because they wont be issued one. i mean fuck, we still use pretty much the same damn rifle from the .....
