  • You know, pointing out that Goldberg cant wrestle is like saying the sky is blue. It's already well fucking established.

  • LOL and people say Goldberg couldnt wrestle

  • I would love to see Goldberg fight John Cena and do that backflip in front of Cena, just to hear the audience reaction! Goldberg's a badass and that backflip was the shit!

  • Goldberg didn't need to be a good wrestler, what he did was more than enough to get over, though I wish he did the backflip more often back then, that was crazy.

  • So that was the 1st time Bill Goldberg did something like that?

  • @mattyhasselhoff Goldberg had done the backflip before, but obviously not as a (overly choreographed) spot like this. I'm pretty sure he'd done the corkscrew neckbreaker before that too. This was when the announcers would orgasm everytime Goldberg did a new move, no matter how simple. I remember them freaking when Goldberg did an armbreaker and a dropkick.

  • Hold 5 down for a cool dance.

  • His wrestling ability was still fucking awful.

  • @joe2233445566 Do yo mean his acting? This is not fucking wrestling.

  • @murozman It is wrestling just not very good wrestling...

  • @joe2233445566 well almost every opponent he had he killed them troll

  • @seanman70 Watch him verse Regal then you realise how bad he truly was.

  • @joe2233445566 you go uu bitch.

  • lol..it was goldberg who trained rey and sin cara :D

  • @991zacky that made me laugh so damn hard.

  • Glacier lol, i remember that fag.

  • Someone in the WCW booking crew was clearly a Mortal Kombat fan...

  • holy crap goldberg did a back handstand

  • Goldberg did have some raw talent. He didn't do many flashy moves in the ring, but when he did and they weren't botched, they were pretty cool. He probably would have been a pretty good ring technician if nhe'd sepnt more time training.

  • B.F.D.

  • and thus ended the popular (at the time) gimmick of Glacier.

  • Isn't that a RVD spot?

  • does goldberg wrestle with a dip in..?

  • glacier ftw.

  • steroids

  • The winner of this match and new Cruiserweight Champion of the wooooooooorld: Goooooooldbeeeerg!!!

  • Goldberg is agility, strength and just pure awesomeness. He didn't need to be a mic hogger to own.

  • WHAT! THE! FUCK!??

  • I HAVE NEVER SEEN GOLDBERG DO THIS BEFORE TIL NOW

  • @TCKTBO man he did alotta moves back round this time look em up lol u would be suprised but he had to stop cuz it takes away from the ytough guy stuff

  • thats almost better than my back hand spring (except that he did it off his knuckles) and im a gymnast!

  • fuck me, i never knew he could do that

  • Goldberg did the backflip in the DDP match.

  • The explanation for this is - Glacier made Goldberg step - up his moveset.

  • HHH, hated on EVERY1, lol. He said Cena looked like a Dancing Bear in the ring. (TRUE) But when was the last time you saw HHH, submit some1, DOMINATE a match, like Goldberg Always did? Sounds like Jealousy, to me. Goldberg was a big as DX, ALONE, with the STREAK, and his POWER!!

  • Now see this totally proves Goldberg should be in the Hall of Fame.

  • press 3 over and over

  • Dude was a football player... of course he has moves like that

  • goldberg a CLEAN wrestler unlike u guys

  • explanation u liar

  • aaah u joka GAME OVER

  • everywere and anywhere

  • goldberg a good guy shit

  • his traps r big but that dont covers his sense or vision

  • hhh goldberg knew all along he knew u were the cerebral assasin...so how he a story teller lol..he the champ!!!! but he h8u and think u funny do wat u like with ...but time for u to go !!!!!!! u thick

  • @shanice5025 I just have to comment this so it appears at the top of the comments section for others to read.

  • @shanice5025 I've listened to Ultimate Warrior interviews that make more sence than your post. Go back to school and learn how to spell

  • @FerretJohn lololol

  • @shanice5025 LEARN...SOME...FUCKIN'...ENGLISH, FUCKTARD.

  • @shanice5025 HUH

  • @shanice5025 I would like to quote Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons by saying WORST COMMENT EVER

  • @shanice5025

LMFAO I thought I was dyslexic when I was trying to read this comment. I think I deciphered it now.

  • @shanice5025 da fuck are you saying?

  • @shanice5025 Go back to elementary school & learn basic grammar skills please.

  • Goldberg will forever be one of the best to step into the ring. He was able to make himself a megastar with the first 6 months of his career somethin no one else could ever do, Brock was the closest.

  • FINISH HIM!!

  • Goldberg is the best! :O

  • @koalajones88 you ever seen guys like Big Show and Mark Henry jump high and flip? didn't think so. and I actually was a wrestler before I fractured my neck and decided to retire. the belly ot belly suplex is one of the hardest moves to do, especially to guys that heavy. the F5 is also pretty difficult to do, fireman carry is easy, but the lifting part is also highly difficult. catching a guy is hard, no doubt about it especially a guy like Bigelow, a goldberg was a monster, but no Lesnar

  • @MrDoods93 plz goldberg was more feared than lesnar lesnar was great but didnt achieve as much as goldberg which is why goldberwill be inducted into the hall

  • @seanman70 first of all, it's fake. so nobody fears anybody haha

second of all Goldberg achieved practically nothing in WWE and he hates them. Lesnar won king of the ring, won the undisputed title like 6 months into his career, won the royal rumble in his first year, beat Undertaker in hell in a cell and main evented and won wrestlemania in his first year. He also had heaps of great matches, which Goldberg didn't I don't know if either of them will be inducted to be honest

  • @MrDoods93 ok then dude how bout thid lesnar's career is shit then shince its fake meaning that he never competed against real competiton cuz it was fake all his great matches were jus shit CUZ they work fake nice choice of words buddy

  • @seanman70 ....it actually was the perfect choice of words if you understood it properly. how good a wrestler is is measured by how entertaining their matches were. Goldbergs matches were shit, as he destroyed everyone in 5 minutes or less. Brock Lesnar had an hour long match with Kurt Angle, which is one of the greatest matches ever, and other great matches with guys like Undertaker, more with Angle, Mysterio, Benoit, The Rock etc, Brock Lesnars career, while short, was more entertaining

  • @koalajones88 Lesnar was stronger than Goldberg, no doubt about it. when Lesnar's belly to belly suplexing guys like 400 pound Mark Henry and over 500 pound Big Show, that's strength. the belly to belly suplex is a lot harder to do than catching someone in mid air, believe me, I've wrestled. and everyone says that Lesnar is the strongest guy wrestling has seen recently, apart from Kane who is supposed to be surprisingly strong and just doesn't show it.

  • @koalajones88 if you truly think that he "outmuscled" Lesnar at Mania than you don't understand that it's fake. no way in hell could Goldberg outmuscle Brock Lesnar. and to be a legend you have to have a good amount of good matches. 89% of Goldbergs matches were total squash matches and the other longer matches he had weren't great. I don't hate him, but he's not THAT good

  • Why is this shocking? He was always very agile and quick, not just some usual body builder type wrestler who could do nothing. Goldberg was awesome.

  • He did a back flip in his debut match in wcw...but not to avoid a sweeping leg

  • find me someone else whole can jackhammer the big show and do an badass backflip spinning neckbreaker combination

  • Goldberg rulez

  • Goldberg was a fantastic wrestler. He had a commanding prescence without getting on the mic and spouting catchphrases, something a lot of guys haven't figured out how to do. All of his spots were powerful and memorable. He also did the spear better then anyone else in wrestling.

  • There is only one logical explanation for this... Goldberg is a fucking NINJA!

  • @hartreyissmelly LOLOL YES!

  • @hartreyissmelly thats the biggest ninja I've ever seen. Though Nathan Jones come to mind. Why didnt those two fight in a movie or in the ring?

  • @koalajones88 Exactly. Triple H said that Goldberg couldn't wrestle in a shoot interview (the guy whose matches consist of punch, knee, spinebuster, pedigree - moves any bum off the street can do) its such bullshit. Goldberg was one of the best of the 90s.

  • @gazz12345a Agree with both of you. Goldberg got over by being Goldberg. He didn't really need a gimmick. He was just a phenomenon that came along at the right time.

  • Wooaah!!hold it!! Triple h never stated any such thing like that on goldberg. Triple h respects him as much as goldberg respects triple h. THE ONLY THING about GOLDBERG that J.R stated was that goldberg is not very good at long- heated duration wrestling matches, he cant keep the fans on the edge of their seats for more than 10 mins!! I do agree on that!! he lacks that ability, triple h on the other hand is NO WAY like the dominator- GOLDBERG but he is an excellent in- ring STORRYTELLER!!!

  • i think hhh was complaining about the way he sells strikes which he critiques about everyone which is stuoid cause if your such a great wrestler lock some arms and throw some bodies instead of whining when someone makes a fake punch look fake.

  • damn, how can a guy that big do such things like this

  • back handspring, ppl! It's a back handspring! This was one of his earlier squash matches against glacier (pretty much at the end of his insanely costly push!) But, this match made me a fan for life!

  • He's was born to do this.

    Legendary stuff WCW had

  • 0:07 "yay!"

I miss WCW. They actually wrestled between microphone rants.

  • @koalajones88 i agree 100% wish they could have brought him in during the invasion angle

  • Puta que ahora si le creo a Goldberg, pensé que era un bulto ^^,

  • not only did he do a backflip, he did a fucking BEAUTIFULL one :o

  • great backflip with that size and that weight, then the best neckbreaker ever

    kindda ultimate wrestler

  • is this bill goldberg or the video game bill goldberg? HAHA

  • what the hell. i did not expect this from goldberg!

  • Poor Sub Zero never stood a chance.

  • I think I'll use that kind of a neck breaker as my finisher lol

  • goldberg is cool. he should do it on his movie...

  • Fuck Cena, GOLDBERG IS KING

  • might be scripted but it takes a humongous amount of talent to do a back flip at Goldberg's size and weight.

  • holy shit!!

  • No way, WCW didn't take advantage of that agility? Okay, so it is no surprize.

  • Goldberg said that and wrote on Twitter that is possible that he will return before the end of 2011 ...

  • managing that at over 290 pounds is impressive and getting hit by that at the speed goldberg had is what no powerhouse of today can compare to.

  • Goldberg is a huge star than Triple H ever was. During the Monday Night Wars, Goldberg even surpassed Sting as the babyface main eventer, he was the man in WCW. While Triple H was just a heel facing babyfaces like Stone Cold and The Rock. Once the Monday Night Wars and the Attitude Era are over and Stone Cold and The Rock were all gone, that's when Triple H took over. He was never that big of a superstar in my opinion...

  • Goldberg is the strongest Jew in the history of Jews.

  • never EVER EVER EVER saw Batista do dat lol plus Goldberg executed da best spinng neck breaker ever in wrestling!

  • I'm laughing my ass off watching these videos...

  • ONLY reason people like sting, Goldberg etc will never be in the hall of fame, is because its not a real hall of fame, its vince mcmahons hall of fame.

A real hall of fame doesent care about federeations, or personal feuds the BEST are inducted and that is not what vinces hall of fame does, look at macho man he should have been in there a looooong time ago.

But vinnie had some personal problems with him so no... Now he might, because he is dead... wich is sad.

  • You know there was a time where, the one thing that mattered about a wrestler was how big of an reaction he got from the crowd, and how many tickets he sold.

Then some old dusty wrestlers along with internet fans made it into a bunch of weird rule sets of how someone was great...

Listen to the Goldberg chants in WCW he was a MAJOR star, and dont give me the shit about wwe beeing the place that counts, wcw put just as many butts in the seats.

  • @koalajones88 Agreed on all those points. I also think he could work the mic, but with his character he's a man of few words, and it worked well whenever he did speak. People slate him for the unbeaten streak gimmick, but I think that's harder to make interesting every night and he did well and worked hard to put on a show. People who are negative about Goldberg are obviously WWF/ WWE fanboys who got conned by WWF PR when the tv ratings war was on. He's a WCW wrestler, and he's loved by WCW fans

  • its too bad how we all know what goldberg was really like :/

  • his jackie chan genes took effect during that match.

  • where i can find this match?

  • He actually did a standing back flip in his very first match against humorous and he has done spinning neck breakers throughout his career.

  • @jmi84 its Hugh Morris ... thank Tony for always ruining the pun.

  • damn never seen Goldberg do this before and I am a fan. No one can match Goldberg all around, not now and not then.

  • Keep Pressing 4 - Lick Me

Keep Pressing 5 - Ref is Rapping

  • Keep Pressing 4 - Lick Me

  • GOLDBERG > wwe

  • u see this is why goldberg is the best there is he is a mass brute like 300 or more pounds of pure muscle and yes he moves like a lightweight doing backflips and running fast as hell plus he can lift big show like u and me lift a feather shit!! he is the best there is no one cant deny it and this is another thing I dont believe that story jericho and his buddies say about he taking down goldberg easily pss thats bullshit!!

  • @XgoldbergvspredatorX All true but for the Jericho story. I think it's possible for anyone to get it right in the moment and take down a good fighter. I knew a heavyweight kickboxing national champion who got destroyed by some little shit on the street, detached his retina and left him in the hospital. The scumbag wasn't a quality fighter, he just managed to catch him off guard and did the right things to keep him down. Even a tiny little granny could break your nose if she suckered punched you

  • @Rodgerinho yeahh that I know but I just dont believe it cause goldberg is storng or big but cause jericho says it like if it was to easy for himm and all his buddies are like praising hm u know what I think hell I bet that something big happened but jerichos buddies are covering jericho do i believe jericho took down goldberg?? yes that can happen goldnerg is human!! but do I believe that it as like chris said nahh there is something he is hiding but u got a good point there man!!

  • @XgoldbergvspredatorX Yeah I agree, Jericho's attitude about the whole thing is pretty cocky and unrealistic. Best case for Y2J is that he got damned lucky, cos Goldberg is a freakin beast! And I bet Jericho kept his fucking head down afterwards

  • @Rodgerinho yeahh I say that too he got lucky!!! anyway they are firends now I figure after running his mouth goldberg went to jericho and jericho apologized for talking shit cause now they are friends but in so much love that jericho told mcmahon to induct goldberg in the wwe hall of fame 2011 but shawn michaels and triple h said he didn't deserve the spot cause he was only a year and held one title in wwe but what about his wcw greatness?? vince is kinda dumb!!

  • @XgoldbergvspredatorX He probably had to give him his car or his daughter to avoid getting speared through his front door. Goldberg should definitely be a hall-of-famer, but it's not a serious hall of fame, they'll let any old idiot in and pass up on the greats. Goldberg is the same quality draw as HHH and Michaels so I dont know what they're talking about, if it sells, get behind it. Fans would tune in for Goldberg's award, just to chant "Goooldberg!" and "one more match"

  • @Rodgerinho lol yeah he knew that goldberg is a guy not to be messed with he may be very VERY humble but that doesn't mean he is a lil bump to be messed with and about the HOF thats absolutly true and thats the reason wrestling is falling apart but well all we gotta do is what u said chat his name and hopefully we will see him again hopefully

  • @XgoldbergvspredatorX True, we can only chant and hope

  • @Rodgerinho He's bigger than HHH. HHH was never really a top draw in my book. Goldberg, at one point, was the biggest draw in WCW....and even for a brief time in WWE

  • @williwo Debatable. Goldberg is the man and I'm sure some people would agree with you. But HHH has been part of WWF's merchandising machine for years, and he was champ off and on for a long time. Even before Rock left, HHH was the headlining star, and when the Great One moved on it was all about the Game. As far as sheer cash earned and fan support, I say it's Triple H all the way. All the DX stunts and the promos he's cut, and truly iconic matches. Not everyone loved Goldberg, he's a scary dude

  • @Rodgerinho You have an interesting point there. In terms of fan support though....the only time Triple H had a greater fan support than the Rock would have been in 98 and early 99, when he was DX's leader. Other than that....Rock has always been a bigger draw. Yeah Triple H has been a merchandising guy for a long time.....but hes never had the kind of popularity Goldberg had in the late 90's. Before Rock left...Brock Lesnar had really become the main guy in 2003.

  • @williwo Dont get me wrong, Rock is my all time favourite, and the way he moved in the ring, man even his kickouts were awesome. But over time Rock was almost over saturating the fan base, a lot of people had gotten sick of him (I wasn't one of them but I was aware of it). HHH picked up a lot of support, though you're right probably not more than Rock, but when Rock left it was all about him. Angle, Benoit, Guerrero were all in-ring masters but HHH was the only top mic worker left

  • @williwo Lesnar was great and they pushed him straight away which helped him immensely, but I still think he was considered a raw prospect, and a lot of people would have seen him as a heel. For all the power and physique of Brock, he was sloppy, whereas Triple H has a presence and composure that's unique, and he can talk and work a situation. I'm not adamant that he was bigger than Lesnar but I still believe he would have been because he had more to offer the fan base

  • @williwo Now HHH is basically semi-retired so he's pretty much another situation like Undertaker. Around the time of Legacy he started to step back from being the main man, but he was clearly more loved than the likes of Orton and Cena when they were first pushed. I see him as more than a guy that stuck around because for a long time he was holding the company on his shoulders. Now the torch has been passed to guys who dont have the same understanding that he and his peers had

  • @williwo Going back to Goldberg and where he fits in, he definitely had a massive fan base and he was loved by the likes of you and I, but I'd suggest that women and children wouldn't have taken to him because he's not a pretty boy and little kids would be genuinely scared of him. But as far as impact, physique and overall potential, he had more going on than HHH, he just didnt get the sort of push that would have taken him to the top over the length of time HHH has been around

  • @Rodgerinho Now Triple H is very good when it comes to sticking around and longevity. In that regard, hes very comparable to the Undertaker. But like Undertaker....hes never been a MAIN Flagship Face. Hes just that guy that keeps sticking around. Hes always been one of the top 5 guys since 99.....but never THE top guy

  • @williwo No he was, look back from late 02 to late 05/early 06, Triple H was the at the top as a heel, I think it purely depends on whether someone is a face or heel, some can be on top as a good guy (Cena, Austin, Bret) or as a villain (Triple H, Edge, Orton) because they are able to work that angle as a character better

  • That was the best spinning neckbreaker I've ever seen.

  • The thing the made Goldberg so "over" back in the day was that he was and still is unique. No one now or then could do what he could do, not Brock, Ken Shamrock and certainly not Dave Batista.

  • @matrixyoda Goldbers has nothing on Brock ... brock was/is a monster one of the best if not THE best athlete ever to have walked into the wrestling ring.

  • @Mardokun Yup, Its unheard of to see a 260-270 pound man do a SSP. With all due respect to Goldberg, Brock is just something else.

  • awesome

  • see after that backflip Goldberg should have a done a really shitty spear.

  • Hold and Press 3 to see the unthinkable

  • I remember when Hogan and Flair use to do that move all the time

  • I dont know why everyone is surprised Goldberg has athletic ability. The dude played defensive end for the Atlanta Falcons after all....

  • Halloween Havoc 1998 Goldberg did a standing backflip against DDP but that one wasn't as clean.

  • Goldberg te llena de chele.

  • I dont care if Goldebrg squashed people ,it made it more beilievable

  • He did this in one other early match where when he got knocked down, he got up and did a back flip then speared or something. It is on youtube somewhere.

  • I Want Too see An True Battle Between Lesnar & Goldberg

  • I was always impressed by Goldberg, but more so after seeing this!

  • I liked Glacier in WCW vs. nWo: World Tour, so I always hoped he would beat Goldberg in at least one of their matches in real life. I can't believe how naive I was.

  • @ahmed8k8r Everybody think that.

  • Big, strong guy, had the look but, needed MUCH more training before they let him out of his cage. He was sloppy in the ring, and wasn't taught on how to put a match together. Just look at the match with Bret Hart, and the Lance Storm shoot where he mentions a match between Goldberg and Elix Skipper. What is it with Goldberg and people from Calgary?

  • Legend, and a believably scary guy, not like Kane or Undertaker, this chap looks like he could tear shreds off anyone. Shame WCW went bust and WWE completely underused him, this guy was the real deal, far better than any arsehole currently in wrestling, e.g. Miz and John Cena. Long live Goldberg!!!

  • @Rodgerinho

Dude couldn't wrestle. Yeah he was cool and huge, but he had no wrestling skills at all.

  • @Abazigal Can Miz or Cena wrestle? At least Goldberg was athletic, his spear was the 100% best I've ever seen. And while he didnt do tons of different things, what he did do was crisp and technically very sound

  • @Rodgerinho miz is ok

  • @thewrestilingfan83 Sorry man, I dont agree, I think he's about the worst thing to happen to wrestling since the kid with the prosthetic leg and Eugene. Miz acts like he's only just now going through puberty, he's uncharismatic enough that I literally tune out when he talks and his wrestling is tame and predictable. Just compare his matches to Rock, Stone Cold and HHH's matches as champ, then tell me he's ok. I'd prefer to see D'Lo Brown make a come-back and claim the title than see Miz with it

  • @Rodgerinho like i said he is ok i never said he was any where near the level of the rock steve austin or hhh. I don't agree with them giving the mz the title so soon but at the same time thier pushing young talent and i personally think miz is great on the mic just because how much he pisses people off and if he does that it means that he is doing is job as a heel proberly.

  • @thewrestilingfan83 That's not a bad point, at least he's building the emotion. But to be honest at this stage I'm just sick of him, I really want to see him beaten mercilessly by someone who can actually wrestle. If he was sneaky, manipulative and evil I'd dig his role as a heel, like HHH at his best, and Barrett seems to be getting there.Miz is like a child that needs clipped round the ear, I cant take him seriously. But each to his own, if you can stand to hear him bleat away them I'm impressed

  • @Rodgerinho imo, The Miz needs to turn face in order for me to take him more seriously

iv started t like him a lot more recently but turning face could help him a lot

  • @stawg007 Maybe.I'd need to see it to know, I still think I'd hate him. It's probably to do with this chain of events: Brock Lesnar comes in, wow, awesome wrestler, great matches, looks like a future great

Then: Lesnar has average feud with Cena, Cena copies the F5 and generally annoys

Lesnar quits, leaving Cena to bulk up and take his role as next big thing. No substitute

Miz comes in, off the back of reality tv. To build him up, they use John Cena, who was never built up properly himself

  • @stawg007 If they do somehow get me to like Miz it's going to be one hell of a hard sell, and with genuinely good wrestlers like Orton, Barrett, Alberto Del Rio, John Morrison, Drew McIntyre and Swagger I think it's a real shame that someone like Miz is getting the push he is ahead of real in-ring talent

  • @Rodgerinho the problem with swagger, mcintrye and even Orton even though it hasn't seemed to effect his push is that their mic skills are pretty bad and nobody cares what they have to say

Orton talks so robotic all the time but HHH did put him over big time so i guess that helped a lot

id like to see Morrison pushed as well as Barrett even though i hated him in the beginning

but i honestly could see myself liking Miz but he needs to get rid of the Riley/Cheating gimmick to have any chance

  • @stawg007 Swagger is ridiculous with his speech impediment I know, and Orton is pretty one-dimensional. I dont know about McIntyre, he's not had a chance to prove what he's like on the mic yet. But part of why I like those guys is that they dont hog the mic.Back in the day there were great wrestlers who never overdid the talking. Now every guy looking for the title push has to talk tons of shit first. I agree, either get rid of the cheating, or be like HHH, Flair etc. and make it more believable

  • @Rodgerinho

Miz and Cena are a lot better than they get credit for. Miz proved his wrestling ability with the likes of Daniel Bryan, John Morrison and (incredibly) Jerry Lawler.

Cena changed his moveset in a wild One Night Stand with RVD, had the stamina to go 60 minutes with HBK and Orton, and has had competitive bouts with Lashley + Jericho. I agree Goldberg was an intense, crisp power wrestler and technically capable. He showed that limitations don't matter. The ability to DELIVER does.

  • @MrDCWood Well that's your opinion, sorry but I dont agree. I think they get way too much hype when neither deserve it and I dont think either of them can do it where it matters, in the ring. Thing with Cena, while I dont deny the guy is very fit, he just doesn't have any style, it all looks so clumsy. Bottom line, that's bad wrestling. He has no decent competition and he was the main guy well before he was ready and for too long. But the fact remains that he's not even close to the true greats

  • @Rodgerinho

I would never call Cena 'the greatest of all time', that would be pushing it (Steve Austin is my all time favourite). But I believe Cena's delivered in the ring several times, and he's gained praise from the likes of Mick Foley, Bret Hart, Chris Jericho & Paul Heyman, as well as being 'Wrestler of the Year' in Pro Wrestling Illustrated and Wrestling Observer Newsletter, so he must be doing SOMETHING right.

But as you said, it's my opinion. And you're entitled to yours, too.

  • @MrDCWood Yeah, Stone Cold is the man, I wish they could bring him back in some sort of role where he got to kick ass and talk to the crowd, they need someone like him in WWE. Only thing I'd say about the guys you mentioned, I dont think too much about their views. Y2J promoted Miz as a future great, he's obviously willing to say what they want him to. Foley works for WWE off and on so he's the same.

  • @MrDCWood Bret was interviewed at the time of the Benoit tragedy and at the time he said Cena was the model pro. I believe that he is a model pro, he's strong, fit, hard working and says the right things at the right times. But it doesn't make him a good wrestler. He'd be part of the old corporation stable if it still existed, he's no rebel. What Cena IS doing is selling tickets, but only because kids need to be escorted and each kid = 2 tickets at least, and they buy all the toys and crap too

  • @MrDCWood But hey, bottom line, I respect your right to a different opinion, the world would suck if we all thought the same way and agreed on everything. If you enjoy Cena that's good as far as I'm concerned, I dont need to change anyone's opinion and I'm glad you're enjoying the show. Personally I just think WWE sucks right now, and I'm hoping things change and they bring in someone unique and iconic like Rock, Angle, Austin or HHH/ DX (from back in the day) to make it entertaining again

  • @Rodgerinho

Agreed, mate. I can still find enjoyment in today's WWE, but it PALES in comparison to the Federation Years, the Attitude Era, the whole Monday Night Wars, and the original ECW. All with their revolutionary concepts and white hot ideas i.e. Goldberg, the nWo, Stone Cold, Rock, Angle, Kane, D-X, Mr. McMahon, RVD's 23 month TV title run, Barely Legal etc

Can wrestling EVER be that hot again? Time will tell.

Enjoyed this discussion, mate. More so because it was civil. Cheers.

  • @MrDCWood Same here, cheers mate
