Chris looks good with Dan when they dance they kinda "fit together" beautifully. Just within these VERY SHORT scenes their chemistry is intense, undeniable! The kiss at the end is SWEET. No way Brad will ever look as nice with her, even grown up! Another 80s classic u should look up is "Fire with Fire" - Virginia Madsen & Craig Sheiffer. And "Sixteen Candles" - Molly Ringwald & Michael Scoffeling! And "The Apple Dumpling Gang RIDES AGAIN" - Tim Matheson. Romance is perfect when it's not blatant.

I'm from the 90s, yeah, was born in the 90s. Don't really know much about the 80s, but seeing this movie really makes me feel t hat the 80s was really nice. People nowadays are just racist .. if it was a movie like this .. they would call that guy black .. ect.. I don't know I see 80s movies more of a adventure movie too, I mean .. old adventure movies were about going out the whole time, while nowadays adventure movies are just sitting at home filming. Pretty good movie, but I was a little disappointed that they didn't have Thor make more of an appearence in this film. He could have been the one that returned the skate but then i guess u wouldn't get the romantic ending. Ug, I hate this plot hole!

@Dawnpool93 how is it a plot hole? They were in Dan's car and Sara accidentally left her skate behind. He was able to find her house 'cause she'd written her address on the tag. Plus, Dan had more of a mission to drive into the suburbs. He wanted to ask Chris out and the skate gave him an opportunity (and excuse) to drive in. A plot hole is an inconsistency in a storyline that goes against the flow of logic. Everything I mentioned seems very plausible.

@chuy1211 even now senior girls would be reluctant to date a freshman. When you're a teenager 3 years a big age difference. She's 17/18 and he's like 14/15. Plus, it seems she has a thing for older men since her first boyfriend was in college and so was Dan. But you wouldn't catch many high school girls even today wanting to date a classmate 3 grades younger. However, you do see older high schoolers dating below their grade. I wonder why that is?
