  • @MrKeksmonster666 nicht schlecht ;)

  • This is like Samba Reggae. Completely Brasilian rhythm from North. Not the traditional "samba" that a Sambista or samba dancer would dance to at carnival. That is Batucada Samba. There is also Axé, Pagode, Samba de Roda, Samba Duro, and more!

  • This is not Samba at all...it's typical from the north of Brasil,a mix o carimbó, and some drums that resemble samba, but that's not samba.

  • O O O PO LE LE LE LE LEGO!

  • @zizi1k Haha learn how to spell rhythm and then maybe someone will take you seriously.

  • When you hear SAMBA you will know it is SAMBA. and men ! this is SAMBA when your heart start jumping and your feet develop a mind of their own, SAMBA is not just brazilian it is african also....

  • @Tocades samba came from african roots, but it is Brazilian first........ this song does not have the qualities to be a samba........

  • no, this is not samba *musically*. but the music used for ballroom often isn't actually the style of music the dance originated from. IOW, this is not samba musically despite the fact that you can dance ballroom samba to it. the most obvious musical difference is that (true) samba is in 2 and the (surdo) pulse is on the 2, this has a 4 on the floor downbeat with offbeat accent feel. the instrumentation is also wrong... (i say this as a drummer who plays a lot of brazilian music)

  • sorry to interrupt, but yes,,, this is indeed a samba rhythm. Usually brazillian sambas are much more upbeat, the ballroom versions tends to be slower so there is more time to perform better body movements and technique!

  • @carlsbergvand samba is samba, there is no such thing as "Brazilian samba". When you say "Brazilian samba" you imply that there are different types of samba, but there is not. Samba is a Brazilian style of music, point blank............ there is no "ballroom samba"

  • @anonymous10001000

For you it's the music, but for us ballroom people it's a dance. Deal with it. =)

  • @AceyBlade i totally agree with you!!!!!!!!!

  • @anonymous10001000 wow, you're so much wrong!!!

  • @anonymous10001000 oh yea??? prove it....... blank statements dont mean anything.........

    "wow, you're so much wrong!!!"

    now back up ur statement............

  • its at least 25% faster than it should be

  • where is the samba?? this isnt samba

  • @anonymous10001000 It is a dancesport samba beat pattern. :-) Please stop making this argument on ballroom samba videos. We understand that it is vastly different from its Brazilian origins.

  • @MasterDon08 there is no "ballroom samba" there is only one and only one samba, and that is the one danced in brazil...always has been, always will

  • @anonymous10001000

Sorry but you are way wrong...if you never saw a competiton samba choreography you dont kow what you are talking about. Cheers nhf.

  • @lukacenko7 "wrong" is not a correct word to describe facts that im stating.....It just amazes me how the rest of the world can create a completely different dance then take the name of a pre-existent dance. The Ballroom communities rules to what "makes a samba" is false. Im not saying they don't dance well, im just saying it is incorrect to call it samba

  • @anonymous10001000

i see you are not a dancer, all samba songs have the same rythm! Only faster or slower.

  • @lukacenko7 this is definitely not a samba rhythm, i have never heard this rythm here in Brazil..........

  • @lukacenko7 and just because i dont do ballroom, doesnt make me any less of a dancer....
