LQ4 is a low compression Work truck engine, more suited for a turbo or SC. If the was the Higher Comp LQ9 or an LS6 6.0 there would be a SC stang in the rear view. Still a good race.

Then stick a 408 or 427 stroker in the stang with a blower and see who gets walked....i am a fan of any domestic that's fast but you are prob the kinda guy who thinks it is fair for a 6.0 to race a 4.6 and beat it and act cool but when you put a blower on to even it up then its puts a blower on the bigger motor and see what happens.....They had what they had and the stang one this race so to bad so sad.....cant win them all
A long block is a block with crank, pistons, heads, intake, accessories, etc...a short block is just the block and internals. I think you are confusing that with big block and small block motors?
I drive a mustang and love them. I also love and respect GM cars aka. Camaros and Trans Am. I think both or them are winners becasue neither are Imports or RIcers. :)

I have had an LS1 Z28 before and it was GREAT!! but it won't go 10s with a cam, sorry!
