I can't believe you would even take the chance of letting your bulldog whelp naturally. If you were a reputable breeder you wouldn't even think of doing that. They have too narrow of hips to risk their lives and their puppies lives and if you weren't so cheap you would find a reputable bulldog vet to perform a c-section and educate you. This is a designer man made breed ... wise up!
@HighpointBulldogs Chill out dude! Yes, most of the time English Bulldogs do have c-sections. But not all have to have it done that way. It's like an 8-out-of-10 need it kind of deal. I am sure this person had taken their dog to the vet while it was pregnant. The vet can tell you if they think the dog will need a c-section or not. That was probably the case here. Just a lucky English Bulldog. Nothing to get your panties in a wad over.
